Who would have thought Dog Tales Doggy Day Spa would surpass 200 Border Collies on our books. That's almost 50 newbie's since Christmas.
Some how, I think we're the go to for the best looking, sparkling clean, deshedded BC'S in FNQ.

Lolly is checking in with our newest client, Mr Jax, to make sure he has had lovely first pampering session.
One of the best part of being able to work from home is that I get to hang out with my own fur babys and incorporate them into the business.
Lola has many roles as Dog Tales CEO. However some of these jobs don't relate to all clients...
• Chief greeter.
• Salon sercurity.
• Support worker.
• Complaints department (this is for all huskys, samoyeds, GSD's, Border Collies, pretty much any dog that feels the need to voice their concerns)
• Lead singer (also required for husky choirs to sing the songs of their people)
Yep.. she's a busy lady our Lolly Dog.

HIP HIP HORRAY... it's Dog Tales 5th Birthday.
It feels like yesterday that I performed Bowen Therapy on my first doggy client, the amazing Miss Nala.
I send out a huge thank you to all Doggy's that I've either given comfort to and made to feel amazing with my magic touch or my grooming abilities. Lola, Arlo, Ari and myself have been so blessed to have the love and support of so many beautiful dogs and their hoomans over the past 5 years. Here's to the next 5.
And an extra special shout out to all the pups who have crossed the rainbow bridge. My heart is so full of all the love I've been so lucky to receive from such awesome dogs.

How crazy is your double-coated dogos coat atm? With all this rain and heat their coats are getting compacted quicker and are stinkier than normal.
Dog Tales has a few appointments open up recently, ready to take on a few new super shedders. These appointments are available to specific breeds, who require deshedding ONLY. Dog Tales specialises in big hairy dogs who drive their hoomans crazy with all the vacuuming required to keep your house clean. Not only will your vacuum thank you, but your dogs coat and skin will be able to breathe, helping reduce the chance of heat stroke in this crazy FNQ weather.
●Please note, Saturdays are Fully booked. And were closed Sundays and Mondays.

Today the handsomest Labrador boy, Milo grew his wings and drifted peacefully over the rainbow bridge to join his sister Sally. Tuesdays are not going to be the same without your happy greeting and the wagiest of tail wags.
Milo has been a long-term Dog Tales regular.

Indy and Buffy are the last dogo's to be pampered for 2024. It's been a long exhausting year, with lots of new clients to give b***y scritches and blueberry facials to.
It's time for some much needed down time and snuggles with Lolly and Ari.
We have some big plans for next year as we celebrate in February 5 years in business. Stay tuned.
We wish all the puppas and their hoomans a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

It's puppy heaven at Dog Tales atm. Puppies coming in to desensitise to grooming. So that when they turn into deshedding machines, they don't freak out. Miss Gibz and her older sister Scritch had a great pampering and play session with Mr Ari and Miss Lola.

There's only 6 weeks left of grooming for the year. Don't be disappointed if you have left it to the last minute to book an appointment and you cant get when you want/need or even get an appointment at all! As there are only a couple of spots left.

Today we celebrate, what would have been Arlo’s 7th Birthday. I'd like to commemorate it by asking anyone who can manage to spare a few dollars and donate to Hear No Evil, Australian Deaf Dog Rescue.
They helped me in the early days with Arlo when he was struggling with fear aggression. And more recently they found me Ari, my new deaf boy. Hear No Evil maybe an Australia wide rescue group, but I bet you didn't know that they're located in Townsville. Our neighbour.
