Online Registrations Only! - 1 Dayer 2025
This is to confirm that following last year's 1 Dayer, on-the-day paper registrations are no longer being supported. This has been ratified by the Black Dog Ride Board, at the request of management and is due to ensuring that all rider information is available to management at any time in case of emergency. It is also now part of our standard risk assessments which is required in order to maintain our insurance coverage ongoing.

Our preference this year is to ensure riders register as early as possible, however understand that there is a considerable portion who sign up on the morning. We will be providing links for riders to sign up, and our ticketing provider, 123 Tix, will have live support available on the day.

We trust that you understand our reasoning.

Black Dog Ride One Dayer - Cairns

It’s now less than two months to go until the 2025 BDR “One Dayer” and I’m looking to assemble a crew of volunteers to help run it.
There’s plenty of tasks to be performed including route markers, merchandise salespeople, check in etc. Volunteers need to register but aren’t charged the rego fee.
If anyone has access to raffle prizes then we can do another monster raffle again this year.
Also those of you who are members of other motorcycle clubs, please drum up interest with you fellow members. I can provide posters for this purpose.
So please message me if you’re interested and can help so we can get together to make this year’s ride a memorable one.

It may be Christmas soon but before you know it will be March and time for the 2025 BDR One Dayer.
This time we’ll be going south, stoping at Innisfail for a coffee in Innisfail before taking a tour of Bingal Bay, Mission Beach and then to the El Arish pub where the ride concludes.
The advertising of our ride is already up on the BDR website. I’ll arrange for it to be migrated to our FB page shortly.
I hope to see all our volunteers back again so that we can again improve the visibility of this ride. If anyone can arrange raffle ticket prizes, please let me know. If you have any other fund raising ideas, let’s give them a crack.
Those of you who have links with any other motorcycle groups, please let them know that they are welcome to join us. Please direct any interested parties to the website. So make sure the 16th of March is marked in your calender.
I’ll be back mid January land will try to catch up with you all then.
