A WORLD FIRST: The Cairns ZOOM is the world's first ever Challenge Ropes Course within a wildlife immersion exhibit (an environment where birds and most of the animals can roam free within the confines of the large aviary enclosure, allowing interaction between humans, animals, and the environment). UNIQUE & INNOVATIVE: The Cairns ZOOM further en

hances the interaction between humans and birds by allowing this to occur at varying heights within the Dome. As such, visitors can further appreciate and be educated about our native fauna during an exhilarating experience. LOCATION: In the Cairns CBD, within the Cairns Wildlife Dome on top of the Reef Hotel Casino, only 5 minutes walk from the Reef Fleet Terminal, Cairns Cruise Terminal, and the majority of Cairns accommodation. ALL-WEATHER ACTIVITY: Protected from the rain and sun, Cairns’ only indoor Zoo in the City offers visitors and locals an all-weather activity. Ponchos are provided for the external walkway when required.

7 DAYS A WEEK: The facility is open from 9am to 5pm 7 days a week. HIGH SAFETY STANDARDS: The Cairns ZOOM utilises a continuous belay system. All participants wear a harness which connects them to the safety cable system while traversing through a series of elements. Participants are unable to disconnect themselves from the course at any stage, thus minimising the risk of human error. SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES: Nearly everyone has an adventurous streak and will want to experience The Cairns ZOOM at some level. There is a minimum height restriction of 120cm so children possibly as young as 6 are able to participate in Cairns ZOOM. GROUPS: Varying group sizes are catered for, with large groups split up and started at different locations on the course, avoiding congestion and ensuring participants finish at approximately the same time. MEETINGS, INCENTIVE, CONFERENCES & EVENTS: Located 5 minutes walk from the Cairns Convention Centre and all city 5 Star Hotels. It is a great indoor facility for team building exercises and group activities are specially catered for.

Happy Save the Koalas Day!

We would like to introduce you to our proud Mama koala, Nellie! 🐨🫶 Her baby, Lulu, still lives with her and aunty Pavlova. Nellie truly is a special little lady with her defining pink nose and gorgeous personality.

Today we raise awareness for our koalas and their population numbers in the wild. It's important we report any injured koalas, drive carefully in areas with koalas and keep all our dogs on a leash in order to help them in the wild.
