How handsome is Biscuit❤️ Biscuit is a gorgeous boy who curiosity sometimes gets the better of him!
He often will find something on his beach adventures that upsets his sensitive stomach and we are always here ready to help him and his Mum!
Remember to be careful this holiday season with your festive foods!
Some of the foods your pets should avoid are Christmas cake, mince pies, gravy, chocolate, fatty foods, grapes and bones!

Ebony is a Schipperke! Whist we have lots of different breeds here in the Marlin Coast Vet family- Ebony is our only Schipperke!
Cool little dogs that in the 1690s, became popular on the barges and earned its name schipperke, meaning "little captain" in Flemish.

Mum and dad ended up with with their beautiful boy Blue, Blue now 7 months old is already (slightly) bigger than Mum, he defiantly has some growing up to still do to catch up to Dad - we love watching our puppies grow and are here for anything they need along the way!

💙🐾Heartworm update 🐾💙
Over the past few months we have had a large number of Heartworm Positive cases. Heartworm in dogs is easily prevented but intensive, lengthy and costly to treat. Heartworm is transferred to dogs from the bite of an infected mosquito. There is no way to tell if a mosquito is infected and that is why prevention is so important!

We are offering FREE Heartworm testing with any Proheart SR12 injection for the months of November & December.
The test is done via a small blood sample in consult, with results in 10 minutes.
Proheart is the only product that treats Heartworm for a full year!

🐾💙 Meet the blue-brothers Lure & Vespa💙🐾
Lure is a 6yr old English Staffy and his brother is a 3yr old Italian Greyhound- they could be twins (non-identical of course)
Vespa is even sympathetically going grey like his brother.

Are you thinking about starting a career within the veterinary field?
We are looking for our next Veterinary care assistant to work alongside our dedicated team of vets and nurses.
This position will have you working with a variety of pets and wildlife while our experienced team teaches you how to feed, handle, exercise, medicate, wash and care for them!
General cleaning is vital part of this position that you will be required to take part in.
The position is a paid role with approximately 10-12 hours a week, including after school hours and alternating Saturdays.
This could be your gateway role into the veterinary industry, as the right applicant will have the opportunity to be supported through a school based traineeship or post-graduate studies.

Lexi recently came into us with a VERY upset stomach, after an overnight stay on IV fluids and antibiotics she was given the OK to go home. Her beautiful Mum was very thankful and spoiled us with all things MCVH staff need!!
