RSPCA Qld is offering free pet health checks for pet owners who hold an eligible concession card Wednesday 28 May at Norman Park in Gordonvale. These include:
- A vet health check
- Vaccinations
- Flea & tick control
- Worming
- Microchipping
- Desexing (EOI to go on our surgery waitlist)
- Pet food
- Pet supplies if needed (collars, leads, bedding, etc.)

Come on down to the Fred Moule Pavilion, Showgrounds this Sunday for the FNQ Markets 8am to 2pm

"These local markets lets local artists showcase what they love to do and you will be supporting a local charity This Strong Mum Foundation".

We will be there with all our yummy coffees, smoothies, frappes and cold brew.

I have spoken to Treidlia Biovet today. The manufacturer of Lepto Australis vaccine. Unfortunately there is no indication on when production will resume. I have also heard from 4 clients whose dogs have contracted lepto recently (Edmonton, Gordonvale)
If your dog experiences anything like fever, vomiting, muscle pain, diarrhoea, inappetence the best hope is to act as quickly as possible rather than a "wait and see" approach. Straight to a clinic.
I will be spreading the word as soon as more vaccine becomes available.

RSPCA is at Ravizza Park, Edmonton today from 9:00 am until 1 pm. They have some availability for walk-ins.
