Oh my goodness, this little fella 😍

Today I spent a lot of time thinking about how lucky I am to get to meet and take care of these beautiful little souls 🤩 and especially lucky to be able to do it in two different states and meeting a second bunch of interesting little floofers.

I love the little package that is the Mini Schnazuer! 😍

In my almost 17 years of dog grooming I’ve seen Schnazuers of every size - mini, standard and GIANT!

And while the giants can be intimidating at first, my experience with them has always been delightful but now that I’m concentrating on Lucky Lap Dog sized dogs in Cairns, I’m glad I can still get some Schnazuer schnuggles from the minis… on their terms of course! 🤣🐾

“POODLES!”

This is what I exclaim out loud whenever I see “POODLES!” in public - at this point it’s like breathing or being bald, it just is 😝

So I was thrilled to welcome these two munchkins for the first time today - Emma and Poppy, in for the full poodle treatment, which is what we old schoolers call the f***y, face and feet treatment! 😲🐩

When I first started, over 16 years ago now, every poodle owner had this style but it’s fallen out of favour in the years since so it’s fun when the opportunity comes along to do the dainty toes and poodley faces and big hairs 😂🐾

A family of fur 😝 came in this week! 🛁 ✂️

Two on Wednesday and two today and they all got full marks on the Lucky Lap Dogs report card 😝🤓

I’ve been operating for almost three months now and I’m getting busier and busier - most of my clients are keen to jump onto the rebooking roster and I’m now scheduling until the end of 2025 - imagine getting all your grooming bookings sorted now, until the end of 2025 and with a confirmation message before each booking, you can just set and forget it!

It also means there’s limited spots available on the roster - there’s already one Saturday every eight weeks that’s full 🤯
