Welcoming Nurse Lauren to the Currimundi Vet family.
Lauren has always had a love for animals. After volunteering and working with a wide range of wildlife, Lauren couldn’t be more excited to care for our pets here at Currimundi! Lauren has completed her Certificate III in Animal Care and will pursue her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. In her spare time, Lauren can be found relaxing at the beach, running or playing board games with family and friends.🐶🐱💞

Yup Tank, luckily his owners noticed super quick and we had the three of them vomiting within a very short time. Only Tank guilty. He’s now back home on charcoal tablets and vitamin K tablets to help with any side effects and back for a follow up blood test soon. 🥺🐶❤️‍🩹

Welcoming Chloe to our team. Chloe is currently working with us two days a week while she studies for her Certificate 3 in animal care. Chloe comes from a background of retail and the car industry, so vet nursing is a bit of a change, and she loves it. Toothie Too the 16week Mastiff had been feeling a bit unwell after eating a few things that he maybe shouldn’t have! There was even the concern that he may have a blockage from a foreign body. So we admitted to the hospital for the day for intravenous fluids, medication and an ultrasound to check his tummy and intestines. Thankfully those ultrasound results all came back clear, and after spending the day with us he went home with support care, and thankfully he has made a full recovery ❤️‍🩹 #mastiff #feelingsad #ultrasound #drretief #currimundivets
