🐾 HAPPY VET NURSE DAY 🐾

A Vet Nurse is:
- The person who cuddles your pet when you can’t be there with them
- The anaesthetist who keeps your pet safe during surgery
- The person that gives them enough snacks to last a life time
- The person drawing their blood and placing their catheters
- The person taking their X-Rays
- The person administering their medication
- The person leaving lip gloss kiss marks on their heads
- The person comforting them while they’re in pain
- The person holding their bladder for hours on end just to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable
- The person holding their paw right until the very end

We are so unbelievably blessed to have such a passionate, kind, funny, smart and empathetic team of Nurses at our clinic.

We laugh together and cry together and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Jess, Renee, Collette, Morgan, Irina and Sheridan for your work day in and day out. We are so thankful for everything you do! 🤍🤍🤍

We are saddened to announce that our wonderful groomer Genelle is retiring.

We are sad to see her go, but we are also SO excited for her well deserved retirement.

Her last day will be Friday 26th of August.
We understand this is very sudden and we apologise for the impact it may cause on our loyal clients.

If you currently have a groom booked, please be patient while our Receptionists call each and every one of you to ensure you are notified.

Again, we apologise for the inconvenience and we wish Genelle the absolute best on her journey ❤️

‼️URGENT‼️

Please avoid taking your pets to these areas!

Residents of the Sunshine Coast please use caution if walking your pets around the areas of Buddina, Minyama, Pt Cartwright and La Balsa.

We unfortunately have had a series of patients presenting with alike symptoms that may suggest a toxicity by ingestion. Although we are unable to confirm the cause of these presentations the link to these patients is the area that they have walked within the 12 hours prior.

Symptoms to look out for are gastrointestinal upsets, lethargy, or any change to your pets behaviour.

We have chosen to err on the side of caution and have made local authorities aware.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us or your local veterinarian if you have concern.
