IMP 247 “OLIVIA” is an 18 week old Border Collie who was surrendered 'with her mum and dad to the shelter'. Olivia is very timid and has had no training or socialisation so she will require a owner with experience with the breed. She is quite content once she gets to know you however can become overwhelmed around young children. She is a loving girl however she will take time to adjust to a new home environment and will need a lot of ongoing training. She appears to be dog social however if you have another dog a meet and greet would be required. Her adoption fee is $408 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, registration and worm and flea treatment. I know she's not groomed and she needs a bath and a toenail clip but I am such a sick lady that she does get neglected but so do I. I am so dizzy from POTs and mostly anaesthetised from taking methotrexate. I really just need someone to make me some breakfast but in the meantime Milo is about to jump up and keep me within skin contact.

On the way home from the vet. Milo still limps the day after a run but it doesn’t seem to bother her much. Perhaps it’s the internal knot in the stitches irritating the skin - you can feel it- the vet said - but the ligament itself is fine. It’s a lovely day anyway.

I have to put on the Elizabethan Collar sometimes, to stop Milo licking off the fresh ointment - Neocort. The leg is a much lighter red now but those pressure sores still look very angry. I was told that they don't appear immediately, hence such a long delay post-op before their appearance.
