Happy New Year everyone! 🎉

Now that the handsome Zeus and beautiful Sasha have gotten your attention.

We are back at work with some important updates to our pricing, payment, and large dog policies. Please review the changes below.

Pricing and Payment Options:

• Some prices have increased due to rising costs. Details are on our website onefurall.com.au.
• GST will now be added at checkout.
• Eftpos and card payments are available before arrival via the invoice link sent with your pickup message. Physical card processing is no longer available.
• PAYID payments before arrival and cash payments remain unchanged.

Large Dogs:

• Shawn has thrown his back out and I am on my own with large dogs which will mean fewer available appointments for dogs 35kg+.
• All dogs over 35kg or large shedding breeds (e.g., Huskies, German Shepherds) require a recurring booking or rebooking at the end of each appointment.
• Dogs in this category must be booked in by February 1st and have had a booking in the previous 6 weeks.
• We cannot service large dogs with major grooming fears (e.g. Dryer/water fear).

Reactive/Aggressive Dogs:

• We have a no muzzle policy and do not accept bookings for aggressive or overly reactive dogs.
• If your dog shows aggression or cannot be groomed safely, the session will end, and the full fee will be due.

We understand these changes may affect some of you. Please contact us if you need to discuss your future appointments.

Apologies to anyone with common sense, but this needs to be said. If what I am about to say shocks or offends you, please feel free to unfollow our page. I am not the groomer for you, and more importantly, you are not the customer for me.

I love dogs, but One Fur All is a business, and that business cannot run on a love of dogs alone. Like every business, we have an average hourly minimum we need to meet to continue trading.

We allocate time and products for a set price and service. When you book your dog in, we allocate a certain amount of time for their groom and then 30 minutes for them to be picked up. After that, it is someone else’s turn.

When you are late, it sets our other appointments back and can even mean we need to cancel someone else’s appointment for lack of time or safety reasons, which costs us money.

We have always had a $50 per hour boarding fee. It may be high, but it is just a deterrent, not a service we offer. Until now, I have never applied the fee, but WE ARE NOT A BOARDING KENNEL, and after what will be11 hours of unexpected doggy sitting, enough is enough.

Those of you who have known us long enough will know we always go above and beyond to help our regular clients with extended pickup times or early arrivals, even getting their pets home safely when something unexpected happens. This is because they let us know as soon as possible, and we can work around it.

Moving forward, this fee will be strictly enforced on all bookings that are more than 30 minutes late, where the owner has not made prior arrangements with us.

If you think you will need doggy daycare after your pet’s groom, we recommend contacting Antonia at Sydney Petsitting & Doggy Daycare around the corner from us, a crate in a grooming salon is not an ideal place for a dog to spend the day.
