Today, we came across another Corn snake. While they're native to North America, they're considered an invasive species here in Australia.

That's why it's illegal to keep Corn Snakes as pets in NSW. They pose a significant threat to our native wildlife, competing for food and habitat.

If you're interested in having a pet snake, please choose species that are native to Australia and permitted by law. Let's protect our unique wildlife!

Remember, if you spot a snake you're not sure about, always call a professional snake catcher.

The good old snake repellers hey! They work great, intact they work so well you should check the video out my colleague from newbies wildlife took and see for yourself.

Don't be conned into buying these devices! As you can see in this short video, a Death Adder is happily sitting right next to a solar snake repeller.

The truth is, these devices have no scientific backing and are simply a waste of money. Snakes can not be repelled by fake vibrations or sounds.

Meet the Death Adder (Acanthophis antarcticus), one of Australia's most venomous snakes! They're found throughout the country, and are known for their ambush tactics, insanely quick striking ability and potent venom.

Don't rely on gimmicks to keep snakes away. Instead, focus on removing food sources, sealing entry points, and calling a professional if you do have any unwanted visitors.

If you want to see some of Josh's antics he gets up to finding and filming some wildlife here is his YouTube link

Hi everyone,

I want to address a situation that has come to my attention. Recently, I was accused of writing fake reviews to sabotage another catcher. I want to make it clear that I would never be involved in such behavior, and I do not condone it, as i know how I would feel if that was ever done to me, I would be spewing.

Earlier today, I was contacted by the owner of the company regarding a review left by a friend of mine. This review was made without my knowledge, and as soon as I was made aware of this I blasted my friend to remove it. I have always operated with integrity and professionalism, and I would never resort to such tactics, as I know how damaging a review can be for a small business like we both run,

In fact, I have previously defended this company when asked to step in on a job where their services were questioned because i believe in giving credit where credit is due. I reached back out to the owner to clear a few things up and to discuss it further, but unfortunately, my attempts to message, & calls have been blocked.

I value transparency and honesty in all my dealings, and I hope this clears up any nonsense that may get thrown around.

This particular catcher is new here and i would much rather have worked together like the rest of us all do.

I do apologize that a friends stupid drunk decision to leave a bad review on another catchers business profile has led to this.

if you do know anyone in small business and you think you are supporting them by getting behind the keyboard and bad reviewing the service, you aren't!

Again to the catcher that copped that from a friend of mine i apologize and hope that this can get sorted sooner rather then later.

Now it is the night before Christmas, and all through the land,
The naughty and nice list has already been planned.
But amidst all the cheer, a warning did sound,
Beware of snakes that could be lurking around.

For risking your life is not worth the quest.
Instead, give us a call, day or night,
We are available, to make everything right, anytime, day or night.

So let's all be safe, this holiday season,
And leave snake catching to those who are seasoned.

Today we attended a property in chipping norton where the residents had sighted a redbelly on their front step. The snake retreated into a crack which look like it went under the path, the crack actually lead to underneath the garden bed and after some digging and some flooding, I still had to encourage the snake out with some pushing from underneath.
Customers were stoked that both them and their kids no longer have to worry about stepping on a red belly.

Last night we were called out to a property in Campbelltown where some residents had seen a black snake sitting in the corner of the yard and it had not moved since they first sighted it, on arrival we were taken around the back to where 3 people were keeping eyes on the snake to make sure the removal was a success. The "snake" had not moved and they had their eyes glued to the spot. Whilst I was approaching where they pointed out to me, I could not see any animal and I was thinking I might need to go to spec savers. As I approached where the "snake" was, the residents started to freak and saying i was about to step on it.

Turns out, the black snake was really just a black broken tile 😑🤣

If you need a snake removed, we are the team to call.

For tile removal, I'm not really sure who does that one, sorry!

It's Saturday arvo and the Christmas drinks start to flow and you see a red flash in your yard, no it's not Rudolf it's a red bellied black snake about to hide in your car!
This afternoon we were called to Raby to remove a red belly that had been sighted taking up refuge under the car. On arrival we had a brief inspection and no snake to be seen so it was going to be somewhere tricky. ALL HANDS ON DECK! we had most of the team on this one when we ended up finding the snake ontop of the fuel tank.
Having a few people on the job made it easier if we needed to track it as it moves between all the hidey holes. 2.5hrs to locate the snake, 30 minutes to get it to a spot to remove it, and Dylan slips his hand in to make this catch successfull!
What an effort 👌 super proud of how the team worked together and go above and beyond to make things happen!

If you ever need a snake removed or any advice, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Dylan's out and about all over the Wollondilly today! This one's from a house in Razorback where the homeowner sighted a brown snake on the patio. It had taken off and disappeared. Dylan arrived, started the inspection, and found the snake under the dog kennel! Safe to say the homeowner (and a good mate of ours) was relieved to see the snake removed from where the dogs and kids frequently play.

Don't forget, we are a 24/7 service and we have multiple catchers on everyday. If you do need a snake removed or only need advice, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Recently we were called to Picton where a couple were working on their cars in the garage. Walking back and forth to the toolboxes with only the finest set of pluggers on, they could hear some noise and, as they looked down, they noticed a brown snake hanging out from underneath the toolbox. After taking a closer look, they realised a brown snake had been unfortunate enough to get caught in a rat trap. By the time we arrived, the snake had moved and wedged itself between the shed frame and the cladding panels. After prying the sheets a little, we were able to get the snake out and onto the table to remove it from the trap. Both snake and customers safe and happy.

Little red bellied black snake we removed from camden park yesterday afternoon.
This snake was originally seen basking in the sun along the edge of the deck and when the snake had noticed some movement it decided to hide under the deck. A few screws loosened and we could lift part of the deck to find the snake hiding inbetween 2 blocks of timber.
In this picture you can see the snake is flattening its neck right out , that is pretty much a warning sign, telling me to bu**er off before it gets personal.

Getting everything out of the shed ready for the festivities ahead?
Watch where your putting your fingers! Best to put on a pair of gloves whilst pulling out items like this portable table.
Snakes like to hide in somewhere tight and dark as they associate it with safety. We recently attended a property in razorback back where the homeowners had sighted a snake enter the garage. The snake was taking up refuge behind some oil bottles originally but had then made its way through some other items and bunkering down in the portable table.

Imagine going to the cupboard to get some pots and pans out only to find a snake in the cupboard!
We were called out to a property in Kirkham where the home owners had sighted a dark coloured snake in their cupboard. We had Dylan head out to get the job done, Dylan pokes his head in to see what type of snake his about to grab and it turns out to be an eastern brown snake! Dylan was able to get the snake out safely and in the bag.
