Megabattieblue will be selling teats and dummies from the weekend. You're welcome to order earlier but I will only be filing the emails until I start selling.
If you can buy as a group, please do. It's cheaper for you and far less trouble for me.
For my regular clients/friends, you know how to order and make it easy for me. Just follow the usual in the paragraph below.
Send your name and snailmail address, your phone number (it's faster if I call you to check on something), and I will send you an invoice. When you have paid, if you send me a screen shot or the transaction notification, I can send you your parcel without having to keep looking in my account for deposits.
DD is best for me, but PP is possible (more expensive for me to use).
Email me at [email protected]. Orders to the same email.
Don't send orders by text - I need all the orders in one place otherwise my life becomes chaos and your orders don't get filled.
For new clients and new carers - it's easier for me to send you a variety of teats and dummies - they're all just slightly different, so I classify them as small medium and large.
If you hate a specific colour, please say so, and I will try to not include that colour in your order. I charge more if I have to hand select every teat and dummy according to size and colour.
Teats will be small medium and large, with some fudge in between, because my mould-maker makes the moulds by eye, and no two moulds are quite the same shape or size.
All the teats and dummies are ones I personally use, or ones which have been really popular with other carers over a few years. They're all perfectly functional. There will be a variety of thicknesses but they're all soft. If you get a thicker one, it's because I've thrown it in as an extra rather than throwing it out. Sometimes when you get a chewy baby or a guzzler you need a harder teat.
Basically if you say you need X teats and X dummies, or X medium and X large and you hate orange, I can pack your order quickly and easily and I'm likely to give you extra teats or a discount as a bonus in thanks.
If you don't know what size you want, tell me what age you think you'll be getting, and I can advise you how many you need per baby, and what sizes. Unless you get premmies all the time, or you are from Darwin and care for the blacks up there, which are smaller than the East Coast Blacks, you don't need the smallest of the teats,
The dummies are various designs, and shapes. The Crown dummies are more expensive because they take me longer to make but they're very popular with the babies and the carers, and very pretty.
I actually put quite a lot of time into making these teats and dummies, but I'm not particularly interested in being a businesswoman. I charge enough to cover costs plus a little more for my time, but if I have to spend a long time making up orders I get bogged down in detail and it's wearing.
