Little Herd Canberra is happy to be able to bring you fresh and delicious mealworms again! We've had a bit of a long hiatus - Canberra winters are not good for darkling beetles, plus it's hard to make them lays eggs, but we've got there!

Little Herd Canberra is a micro-micro business set up by a mum and her 8 year old daughter as a way to earn pocket money and learn about business - but it turns out raising mealworms is fun and fascinating too!

Our mission is "To breed healthy, happy and fresh mealworms to meet the needs of Canberra's pets" and our goal is "To have sufficient mealworms available all year".

We are not there yet - we are still in the process of building up our herd. We hope to fill all of these trays during 2022 with wriggly yummy mealworms!

When we have supply to sell we will post here, as well as on the ACT reptile and poultry pages, and on Gumtree.
