MEET ANIKA! ✨

Anika moved to Australia from South Africa when she was younger. Growing up, she had a variety of pets, including her fluffy, quirky Silkie chickens, a pair of playful dachshunds, an affectionate schnauzer, a loyal rottweiler, and even several goldfish.

As a young girl, Anika spent her time taming stray cats that wandered into her life, showing her dedication and natural ability to connect deeply with animals.
She has completed a Bachelor of Science and a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.

Her passion has inspired her to pursue a career in animal health, and she is currently working towards her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

When not at the clinic, Anika dedicates her time to the National Zoo and Aquarium, where she has volunteered for the past nine years, working with African animals including giraffes, zebras, and rhinos. In her free time, she also enjoys dance and gymnastics.

✨ A little staff shoutout as we reach the halfway point of the year. ✨

Together, we’ve faced challenges head-on and grown stronger as a team. We’ve embraced ongoing learning and training to continually improve the care we provide. Along the way, we’ve shared moments full of laughter, support, and made memories.

We said farewell to Bree, thanking her for all she’s contributed, and warmly welcomed Alex back from maternity leave. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated nursing and veterinary team whose hard work and commitment make everything possible.

Here’s to continuing this journey together and whatever the future holds.
