Shedding season! It’s that time of year when our dogs start shedding their winter coat and the house becomes a hairy nightmare.

WOOOF can help you manage your dog’s coat to encourage the undercoat to shed faster!

Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Labradors, Chow Chows, Huskies, Border Collies, Pomeranians, Corgis, and most other double coated breeds will blow their entire undercoat a few times a year to make way for new, healthy fur to grow.

Our specialised treatments include a warm double wash with a natural deshedding shampoo, special deshedding conditioning treatment and silky finishing sprays to make your dog look and feel great.

Special tools and techniques are used to encourage the release of the coat. And we fully brush it out to discourage knots and matting.

Putting your dog on a regular plan during their shedding cycle to help release the coat quicker and nourish the skin.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Christmas in July on The Lawns in Manuka on Saturday. It was such a fun day, with over a 150 of your gorgeous dogs (too many to capture in this post!)

Both pure breed and cross breed terriers have different coats and different requirements. If you’re a happy Terrier mum or dad, we can discuss clipping, hand stripping or clip n’ strip combinations 🥰

Big dogs like Bear need special care and attention.

At WOOOF, our hydraulic baths and tables drop to ground level to avoid lifting and risk of jumping to protect joints from strains.

And every dog has the benefit of two technicians to lessen the grooming time and the need to stand for long periods.
