han online supermarkets. It’s a Smart co-op so you get more of what you want than a regular co-op.

These are recommendations by your Hubster. The green dollar sign products are good value. Start your order in Marketplace then go to your SPLITS tab. This is explained in your Welcome email. Monday 9pm - CUTOFF
Orders closed. There are 2 automatic processing’s, if those both decline - a $5 recharge fee is applied as it pays for someone to manually reprocess. You must pay BEFORE pick-up. Wednesday - PICK UP. You must pick up day of delivery at the pick-up time or arrange with Hubster. PAYMENTS
You must pay for your order once committed to an order cycle. It's OPT OUT. So if you don't want an order, you’ll need to suspend before orders are created. In its quest to reduce our (micro) plastics use, Box Divvy has introduced Ecokaps re-usable Bamboo Cleaning Cloths - $6.47 per 5-pack.
Made from 90% bamboo, a fast-growing, renewable resource with compostable fibres. Each cloth measures 180 x 220mm. They can go through the laundry cycle so you can keep using them again and again.
✅ absorbent
✅ durable
✅ gentle on surfaces
✅ naturally antibacterial
Bamboo has a major advantage over microfibre (usually a blend of polyester and polyamide, but can also include polypropylene, acrylic, or viscose). When microfibre fabric wears out, microplastics are released into the environment, which is a major health issue: microplastics have been found not only across our food chain, but also in almost every human organ including our brain, the blood stream and bone marrow. The impact on our health is yet unknown, but it can't be good. That's why Box Divvy is committed to reducing plastics as much as possible.

There are some great bargins in the Box Divvy fuit and veg this week.

Could this be the cheapest Christmas on record – at least for fruit and vegetables?

Compared with last year, prices are down 3-4% across the board – and at least 20% lower for mangoes, berries, nectarines, pineapples, rockmelons, watermelon, cabbages, capsicum, almost all lettuces, shallots, pumpkin, all tomato varieties and baby Q’s.

Shepherds Croissants and more

We don’t want to steal the Christmas Fruit Mince Pies’ limelight, or that of the Christmas Persian Cakes – but you asked us to occasionally offer the Shepherd’s range of croissants, and we thought Christmas is as good an occasion as any. Perhaps as a Boxing Day Recovery Therapy? By-the-way, these croissants freeze well: leave them in the original box and freeze as soon as you get them. To defrost, do not microwave: put them on a baking tray in a warm (120-140 C) oven for perhaps 10 minutes. That way, the outside is crisp and the inside warm and gooey.

The Persian Christmas cakes, the caramel slice and the chocolate brownie are gluten-free.

🦁🦁 Lion’s Mane Mushrooms 🦁🦁

🍄 Grown by Fungi Co aka Little Mountain Mushrooms in Moss Vale, Lion’s Mane mushrooms have a mildly sweet flavour and a tender texture that mimics shellfish like scallops, crab, or lobster.

🧠 Brain health 🧠
Lion's Mane mushrooms contain compounds that may stimulate brain cell growth and protect the brain from damage.
They may also help with mild cognitive impairment and improve mental performance.
They also aid digestive health, support the immune system and reduce inflammation.

These beauties sell for $60-80 a kilo – if you can find them.

Leonie from FungiCo says they’ll have plenty over the coming weeks, and whilst they’re not cheap at around $49 a kilo, they’re worth it.

🫙 Storage Tip - GINGER!

🥰 One of my clever members shared this method years ago and I've been doing it ever since.

❄️ Peel and chop into small pieces (about the size you normally use in a dish) and freeze until needed. Then you can grate or chop it whenever you need it. No dry or mouldy ginger again!

⭐ Have you tried this? Do you have a different method?
