Daisy need a very short clip on her body to get under all the matting she had but lucky to be able to leave some cute face fur. I’ve showed her owner now how to brush and comb now we can start from scratch do we can hopefully do a winter or summer length for Daisy and a regular 6 to 8 weekly schedule so we can get on top of any matting . Picture one is how it comes off in one piece when it is matting where they all join together. Picture 2 is how I see the matts as I’m drying. And picture 3 is Daisy all done ready to go home.

2 of my good doggos today. Sonny and Riley. Roley got his winter clip - a huge thankyou to his fam for giving him to me almost knot free - just a little baby knot behind each ear so that’s pretty amazing. Then Sonny was a 2 and 1/2 hour bath and deshed. With thanks to Plush Puppy for their amazing products.

Arnie needed his winter hair cut . Now he can see again 😍. How owner wanted shorter legs and body to make it more manageable as he likes rolling in wet grass which means his fur can knot faster.

Proud to stock plush puppy products. Even more excited they choose to show off this breed and this boy I that I love seeing on a regular basis. This gorgeous guy is Louie and this is what a cavalier’s beautiful coat looks like when you don’t shave it off. He gets his paw pads trimmed above and below , ear length trimmed although we couldn’t wash them today due to the fact that he currently has an ear infection he’s being treated for, and the long fur behind his front and back legs gets a little tidy so it stays manageable . His coat stays shiny and not thick and just needs a run down by a comb every 2nd day to check for knots. And then lastly we trim his nails.

I had a lovely day grooming today with some pups I couldn’t fit on my usual days. Cinnamon the cocker spaniel and then Loki and Luna the Pomeranians. All were amazing dogs.

A couple of the girls I had today. Nova the Gsd is ready for the family’s wedding party tomorrow- best wishes for a lovely day.
And then I had Betsy - she has a super fine coat that knots so easily even with her owner trying so hard- so she’s gone away with a really awesome detangling spray I love to use and we will look to improve her diet to add more oils in her food to see if we can strengthen her coat. She is the most patient dog I’ve ever met and not too stressed about me working through her coat.

3 gorgeous floofers today with Albert and Lou and Annie .
Lou struggled with the groom last time as he hated the tools his owner had and therefore was becoming very hard for her to brush and comb him. I got her on the right path with a softer slicker for this shepherd and a great detangling spray that can be used wet or dry and she went above and beyond and it’s changed their life. He came in without a single knot and completely groomed out so just required his bath and dry and some trimming and nails . A massive congratulations to his mum , the best transformation and homework I’ve ever seen, I’m so excited for you guys .

It was Louie, Stella and Luna day today. With 2 long coat grooms and Luna slightly shorter. It’s so easier to do short or long when the doggos come to me almost 99% Matt free. There was some surface little matting but it was only the tail where they wag it in excitement where there was a big matt and that’s easy to get out without losing length on the body or legs . A huge thankyou to their owners for doing such an amazing job on their fur

We farewell Sookie the cocker today. I started seeing her around 7 years ago. She was over 15 years old when she passed. Such a great dog and had a great life with her family
