This little sweetie was found when we examined her mother who was sadly found deceased.
Our team has been keeping her warm and cozy this evening, and now she’s off to a wildlife carer who will look after her until she’s big and strong. 🧡

🐾🐍 Watch out, snakes about! 🐍🐾

Meet Gus, a chocolate Labrador who mistook a snake for a snack!
Thankfully, his owner rushed him straight to our hospital. With quick antivenom treatment, Gus made a full recovery and is now back home with his best mate, tail wagging as usual.

Remember, time is critical when it comes to snake bites. If you think your pet has been bitten, contact us immediately and bring them in for urgent care – it could save their life!

✨ Tip to keep your pets safe:
Train your dog to follow commands like "leave it" or "drop it," so if you think they’ve picked up a snake, they can hopefully drop it before they get bitten.
Keep your yard tidy by clearing away long grass and debris where snakes might hide.
Avoid walking your dog in areas with high snake activity, especially during warmer months.

Stay safe out there, and give your furry friends some extra cuddles! 💙
