For cats and dogs, shaking their head can be a common sign of irritation or pain in their ears. While ear infections or allergies are common culprits that cause ear irritation, at this time of year, grass seeds are also a common irritant when imbedded into the ear. Clinic pup Snoop starting the New Year off right with his daily dental chew. While daily teeth brushing is the gold standard for preserving dental hygiene, daily dental chews are a great alternative for pups who aren't the biggest fans of having their mouth touched. Not only will it help reduce plaque build up, chews are also a great way to provide enrichment too! We have drawn the submissions for our guess the weight competition we have been running in the waiting room. And the closest guess winners are....

Hannah Walker who guessed 684g for the weight of the liver treats! (only 38g off the actual weight)

and...

Scott Huxtable who guessed 600g for the weight of the greenies! (only 13g off the actual weight)

Thank you to everyone who played along and put in a guess for what you thought the weight may be. Congrats to our winners, we will call you today to let you know directly of your win. We will also have the jars put aside for you at the clinic, so you are welcome to pop down at any stage we are open to collect your prize ✨🎉🎊

We recently set up a little Christmas backdrop for behind the scales in the waiting room. If you have taken any photos with your pup on the scales we would love to see the cute photos 🎅❤

We do also have a smaller festive photo box for smaller pups and cats, if you are coming for a consult and would like to take some Christmas photos using the box please let our team know so we can get it set up for you 🥰
