As we come to the end of another year and are starting to wind down our classes, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for choosing to train with us during 2025.

This year has been a huge one for us, both personally and professionally and your support has been nothing short of amazing.

Just some of the things that we saw this year:

🤠 Amy became a full-time parent to a fully grown teenager (arguably harder than any doggo she's trained - EVER!)

🤩 We learned new things at workshops and seminars with Serenity Scent Work, Canberra Nosework Training, Sue Sternberg, Dana Zinn and Peta Clarke.

🥳 We hosted several themed Sniff & Go days, Mock Trials, Official Trials and ORT Training days. The awesome Jenn Gamble judging our very first official ORT Trial in July.

😍So many of you had a go at trialing this year, some of you for the very first time, and we are so incredibly proud of you all.

🥰 The amazing John Sam and Amy co-taught 37 casual group classes together - with the total number of class places over those sessions exceeding 200 🐾

🤗 By the time we hit Christmas day, our group class total places taught since the beginning of the year will hit more than 460 🐾

♥️And we have LOVED every single minute of it. So much so that we are planning more of the same for 2026 and we can't wait!!

There is still time to book a spectator (auditor) spot for workshop with the amazing Peta Clarke on Saturday.

There are also a few spots left for private sessions on Sunday. These sessions can be shared, used for Scentwork training (yes, even if your dog is still searching for food only) or you can use them to workshop anything you might like to pick Peta's brain on.

Several of our students travelled to Mittagong today for the ORT and I've received some lovely messages letting us know of passes and titles gained.

If you have a class booked with us in the coming weeks, please keep an eye on your texts and emails.

As the weather is warming up (earlier than we expected) there may be last minute changes to where your session will be held, or we may choose to cancel the session altogether.

Where classes are cancelled, a full refund or credit to another session will be available. In addition, if your class remains on and you make the decision that it is too hot for you and your dog and decide not to come along for this reason, we will also honor this policy.

The welfare of all the wonderful doggos that train with us is our number ONE priority.

Here's someone else who needs no introduction.

The wonderful John Sam will deliver his Dog Driven Handling Workshop on Sunday 23 November - 10am to 4pm at the Holt Community Hub.

A limited number of working spots are available and auditors are welcome.

Dog and handler teams at all levels, including those still searching for food, are encouraged to come along and see just how much of an influence we have on our dogs through only the subtlest of movements!

What does one do while waiting to fly home... plan more stuff is what!!!

Canberra Nosework Training and I have set dates for Monday night casual classes to the end of the year and plans are underway for a Dog Driven Search workshop towards the end of November.

I'm also plotting something else for you all and will have more info on that one soon 😉

Casual classes should be up on the website for booking later tonight and info on the other exciting happenings will follow shortly.

We are about to jump on a plane and head over to Adelaide for a professional development weekend and some long overdue catch-ups with friends.

We'll be back on deck on Tuesday, when we will send emails for classes commencing the 12th and 13th October and respond to anything that lands (boom boom!) between now and then.
