These are the last of the babies from the 2023 season, if you are looking for a hardy, friendly and easy to handle pet, Blotched Bluetongues are your guys!

They do not require a licence in ACT. (However they do in NSW). Their setup requirements will be very new to a first time reptile keeper, but we are here to help! We have all of the tanks, accessories, food and follow up care and advice for life.

Look at these guys go!

Hermit crabs make wonderful pets however they do require more than you might expect. Often marketed as an easy to keep pet, whilst this is true once setup, this needs to be done correctly in order for them to thrive.

We have a large 6ft enclosure for sale this week. This would suit most small to medium species of reptile.

It is a custom built enclosure with sliding front doors that are lockable, sealed wire mesh top and bottom supports for structural integrity.

This is Splash, this lovely lady is our oldest Blotched Bluetongue and she is a whopper!

Weighing 1.1kg she is also our largest. Drop by our Kambah store to say hi and you might be lucky enough to give the sweetheart a big cuddle.

We carry a large range of Central Bearded Dragon hatchling including morphs such as High Reds, High Yellows, Zero’s, Dunner’s, Translucent, Leatherback and Hypomelanistic. One of Australia’s most iconic reptiles, this is Ragnar the Frilled Neck Lizard. He is a resident reptile at our Kambah store.

Sometimes confused with Bearded Dragons, the Frilled Neck is not native to the ACT.

Their frill extends from their head all the way to the base of the neck, and can be unfurled in a magnificent display. This is used primarily for defence to intimidate predators or competing males.

Whilst Ragnar has been hand raised and is quite calm, this species are recommended as display animals for the more experienced keeper as they only tolerate limited handling, grow quite large and are extremely quick.

These amazing little dinosaurs are Boyd’s Forest Dragons. They are only 8 weeks old. They have just reached the right age to leave to go to new homes. Although these little guys are already on hold, we do expect another clutch in the coming months.

If you would like to be added to our waiting list, give us a call on 6253 8533 and we will contact you as soon as they become available. A reptile licence is required to keep in all states, they also have specific keeping requirements so be sure to speak to us if you are interested in these beautiful little guys.

Are you sick of losing crickets inside your house? Yes we know that’s a very specific issue only familiar to reptile keepers.

These crickets keepers are designed to make moving your crickets a much easier task. The black tubes act as hiding holes, they are then removed from the keeper, shaken into the tank and you’re done! No more escapees.

They also help prolong the life of your crickets due to increased space and ventilation. The best thing is, we will refill them when you need more, just bring the keeper into the store and we will decant the crickets for you.

Known as “Mexican Walking Fish” these guys make amazing pets. However they are not actually a fish, they are amphibians. They have the ability to use gills as well as lungs and are a larval form that never grows out of its aquatic phase, unless under specific conditions. They also have the ability to regrow limbs and other body parts.

This species does require an amphibian licence in the ACT however are exempt in NSW. If you are unsure how to go about this, just give us a call on 62538533 or drop in to one of our locations.

If you have been to our Kambah store, you may have seen (or even heard) our Green Tree Frog family.

Mia, Sid, Nancy and Colin have called our store home for the past 5 years. Now that they’re all reaching full size, we have decided it’s time for an upgrade. They will be moving from this wet setup to a new larger bioactive setup.

Keep your eye out for their new home coming soon!
