So exciting for all involved to see Moritz Girl break through for a Highway win and Randwick. She has been racing so consistently since she joined the stable and it was a well deserved win. Moritz Girl was purchased for $22000 on Inglis Digital and has now won well over a $100000 in six runs for the stable. It was great to see a big turnout of her owners to witness the win.

It was an impressive return to the races for Oneforian at Queanbeyan. He was first up over the 1200m and found himself well back approaching the turn. Jockey Nick Heywood bought him wide with an uninterrupted run to just get there on the line. Congratulations to long time stable supporter Ralph Tierney.

It was a massive result at the recent Queanbeyan Cup day meeting with Just Go Bang winnng the Cup. He’s win made it three Queanbeyan Cups in a row for the stable, all since moving to Queanbeyan. It was also our 5th Queanbeyan Cup victory. His owner Graeme was on track to see his horse in the exciting win along with many supporters of the stable. A great day was had by all including his jockey on the day Billy Owen.

At this year’s Snake Gully Cup meeting we only had the one runner, Final Comment. Thankfully he kept our lucrative run going with this Carnival with a strong win in the feature race on the Second day. Final Comment was giving a great ride by Billy Owen who is of course a Gundagai local. The horse returned to scale to energetic applause from the local crowd. Great result for all connections.

Mooshaka continued her recent good form with an impressive win at Queanbeyan. With apprentice Glen Cahill in the saddle having his first ride for our stable she was given a gun steer to allow her to let down strong in the finish. Many owners were on course to celebrate the win which made it all the more special.

We are thrilled to welcome Vanessa Krogh to the team, she brings many years of experience in the Racing Industry with her. Vanessa grew up around horses and was in and around racing stables from an early age in New Zealand. She moved to Australia and took up a position with G*i Waterhouse for many years before moving to Canberra with her partner Quayde Krogh and working for the Joseph/Jones stable. Vanessa is highly regarded in the industry and is known as a highly skilled rider. We look forward to seeing her evolve in her new role at Nick Olive Racing.

Great for all connections to see Mooshaka get up and win again at the Sapphire Coast. She found a nice race with a good draw and was given a beautiful ride by stable apprentice Coriah Keatings. She has been a great mare and this brings up win number six for her and all involved.

Miss Stalwart does it again with a great turn of foot coming from back in the field to win at Canberra. This made it 5 wins from her last 12 starts as she continues to build an impressive record. Moritz Girl made the trip to Dubbo well worthwhile with an impressive win in the Country Magic race on Dubbo Cup day. It was her first start for the stable and aided by a Coriah Keatings gem was too good for a strong field. The mare was purchased in conjunction with Shane Duff from Mad About Racing. A Great result for everyone involved.
