🐾CANBERRA STREETDOG FUNDRAISER CAMPAIGN🐾

We are absolutely thrilled to share our recent event was a tremendous success, raising over $5000 for Rob’s Dogs Thailand! 🎉 This incredible amount will directly aid the amazing work being done to care for Thailand’s stray dogs and cats.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful supporters, sponsors, and everyone who donated. Your generosity has made a massive difference. 🙏

We took over 20 kilos of essential medical supplies, which were distributed to Rob’s Dogs, Dog and Cat Rescue Samui, and local rescues. These supplies are crucial for the well-being of these deserving animals.

Our family-run, family-owned initiative is deeply committed to helping dogs and cats in need, and our boys are just as passionate as we are. Every bit of support counts, and we’re grateful to have such a compassionate community standing with us.

A decade ago, during my trip to Thailand I encountered a young street dog bearing the scars of unspeakable cruelty, hiding in the bushes behind our hotel. He was bleeding, emaciated and infected and after talking to staff they told me locals had thrown a pot of boiling water on him earlier that month when he had been begging for food. It took me 5 days for me to gain Temu’s trust but eventually he looked to me for help.

After a lot of encouragement, we got Temu in the car and to the local vet. His wounds were treated and his belly full. He was de-sexed and shown love for the second time in his young life. I paid for all his treatment and left him in the care of the vets but always wished there was more I could have done, and now I have the opportunity

Hey Teachers Pet Family,

We have something important to share with you. In July, our family is traveling to Koh Samui, and we've teamed up with Rob's Dogs and Dog and Cat Rescue Samui to help us in our mission to alleviate the suffering of stray animals by fundraising and collecting essential medical supplies. Over the next six weeks, we will be running a campaign to raise awareness and gather as many donations as possible. We hope to gather medical supplies such as flea and tick treatments, worming supplies, antibiotics, wound care, collars – everything and anything we can get our hands on! We are also seeking tax-deductible donations to go directly towards the sterilization of the dogs and cats on the island.

As part of our campaign, we will be offering treat incentives, donating money directly to the cause, and setting up donation baskets for items at all our markets. Our campaign is kicking off this week, so we kindly ask that you please share our plea far and wide. ANY donation is truly appreciated. Please help us help them – together we can make a difference.
