Are you heading to the coast over the Easter Long weekend? If you are don’t forget to give your dog an oral or injectable tick preventative before you go. Even with the weather cooling Paralysis ticks are still active. Tick paralysis is life threatening so prevention is the best option. We have an annual injectable preventative, or both individual and multi-packs of monthly Nexgard available over the counter.

🚨 Attention Pet Parents! It's time to update your pet’s microchip information! 🚨

HomeSafeID, which is a microchip registry company often used by rescue groups as well as breeders, will soon be closing its online services. If your pet is registered with them, you'll need to transfer your pets registration to another company, like Australasian Animal Records or Central Animal Records.

Why does this matter? If your pet’s registration isn't updated, it means if they ever went missing then vets, pounds and shelters won't be able to access your pet’s details when their microchip is scanned. This could make it much harder to reunite you with your furry friend!

Don’t know your pet’s microchip number? No problem! Simply contact us, the pound or the RSPCA to have your pet scanned and get the number.
