Dexter & Boo's Doggy Crate Bedding Sets

This page is dedicated to Dexter and Boo were best buddies at puppy school and both were diagnosed with hip dysplasia by 5 mths of age. Dexter was later diagnosed with elbow dysplasia too so this crate bedding has become vital for his ongoing comfort as he prefers his crates most of the time. Dexter already liked his crate but i wanted to make it more comfortable after his hip surgery to increase

his comfort and speed his recovery. I found I couldn't buy quality natural fabric crate bedding sets in Australia that would breathe, be good for dogs with skin allergies who get hot but also be easily washed to keep them clean. I also wanted to make a set that had no buttons, no zips or velco for dogs to chew on - so at least if they did chew on this set they are only chewing fabric and not a foreign object that may end up down their throat. I cant say enough how much more comfortable Dex has been in his crate since I made the crate cover which relaxes him and keeps it darker if he wants a rest, or the bumper pad which means his body is protected against any hard edges but he also leans against with his recovering hips, or the cotton mattress pillow slip which breathes and washes well and doesn't get hot but also hides any zips on the crate pad so he cant chew them. I also wanted to repay the support shown to me when I reached out to the German Shepherd Rescue Groups in Australia and my local rescue groups who have also shown me support and the people who run them or volunteer their time so I wanted to make these sets for their injured dogs who may need them from recycled fabric. The recycled fabric has come from people who have seen this site and donated fabric for me to make bedding for rescue dogs and cats in foster care. I have used this donated fabric to make crate pads, crate covers, bumper pads, cat hammock and dog tugs for rescue dog and cats in foster care. I make this bedding after hours as a labour of love so please allow 1 to 2 weeks for me to make it for you depending on the item and allow extra for postage. List the crate measurements i.e. length, height, width as all crates vary in size i.e.: a 42in crate comes in different measurements depending on the brand. If you want a crate mattress pillow slip measure the depth of the mattress. I have allowed for the fabric to shrink once you wash it so the slip will be a little big for the 1st couple of washes.
