Let’s celebrate responsibly and keep our pets safe. Fireworks may dazzle us, but they can be distressing for pets.

Here are some great tips for keeping pets safe during fireworks:
🎆 Set up a quiet area for pets to retreat to.
🎆 Prevent escapes during loud noises.
🎆 Consider anxiety wraps or calming products.
🎆 Ensure pets have proper identification.

As the festive season is right upon us, we want to keep you informed about our clinic hours over the holiday period.

If you need to book an appointment or have any questions, feel free to reach out directly or book online today!

On Monday December 30th we will be doing urgent care cases only through our sister clinic Inner South Veterinary Clinic in Narrabundah. Please call the Curtin phone number as normal on this day.

With rising temperatures, it’s essential to keep our pets safe from heatstroke. Watch for signs like excessive panting, drooling, weakness or disorientation.

Prevention tips:
☀️ Keep fresh water and shade available.
☀️ Limit exercise during peak heat.
☀️ Never leave pets in hot cars.

If you suspect heatstroke, contact your vet immediately! Let’s keep our pets cool this summer!

Saturday the 4th of May. Curtin vet community. Due to circumstances relating to staff availability and keeping our staff healthy to look after your precious pets, we will be closed this coming Saturday and every 2nd Saturday there after until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our normal opening hours will apply during the week. The Curtin Vet walking club will still run on these Saturdays due to our local community commited to socialising with their pets🤩 we thank the community in their understanding and appreciate your patience.
