We’re proud to be a part of this alongside Songland Records and in support of the wonderful work of RSPCA ACT

Our most important fundraising event of the year is just around the corner and we’re asking ACT business owners for help.

Can you donate to help more than 2,000 animals who may need emergency attention, shelter, rehabilitation, love and warmth?

Give To Get Them Home is a one-day event, almost like those television ‘telethons’ from the 1980’s where we aim to double every donation received.

We’ve already received generous donations from local supporters and businesses to supply a pool of funding for us to use to double those donations from the public on October 3rd.

However, with more animals arriving at our shelter every day, we need more help.

We’ve seen an uptick of around 40% more animals arriving during May and June and we rely heavily on public donations for more than 65% of our funding.

Got to spend a week pet sitting this glorious little girl on our beautiful Eurobodalla South Coast.

Ziva❤️🐾

Her loving family are safely back home now. I’m sure she is busy telling them how she was the best snuggle bug, walking partner, office work mate, dinner date, bedtime story teller, pawsonal trainer and great friend.

She was all of that and more.

When we pet sit we get asked all sorts of questions, like……

Do you mind if she sleeps on the bed with you? Thats what she is used to.

When you take her for a walk each day, do you mind if she carries a toy with her? She likes to do that.

The important thing to know is when we pet sit, we’re coming into their world, not the other way round. So we want to know and do and support ALL the little creature comforts that make them who they are.

We do a pre wedding meet and greet with all of our clients.

Why?

For many reasons. However one of the most important reasons is for you to see our interactions with your beloved pets. So you can see you’re not just handing the lead over to a pet professional, but to an animal lover that will put their every need as a priority, including loving them like they’re our very own.
