This week we said goodbye to this fluffy teddy bear pony AKA Archie…

He’s moved just down the road and we are so happy that we will still get to see him.

I don’t mind teaching in the rain all day.

Why?

Because when I was their age I would’ve given ANYTHING, in any weather- to ride.

So yes, today’s Pony Camp was a soggy one… but their little smiles and big accomplishments made it worthwhile!

Today’s Cross Country and Showjumping clinic at TEG brought some challenges for a few riders… but for me, proud is an understatement.

Resilience, courage and dignity was shown by all riders, even in their toughest moments.

A couple of new faces around the stables this week….

Hercules is a 13.2 Welsh gelding, he’s here on trial but has already won our hearts!

And Banjo, who’s visiting for a couple of weeks of training- getting him used to being a riding horse again rather than a paddock bum!

A day of warm and fuzzies!

2 of my students celebrated their birthdays today…. Rachel marked the occasion by having her first ride on Judge (and did an amazing job!) and Deb not only had a stellar lesson on Rolly but also GOT ENGAGED!
