After helping many pets cross the rainbow bridge, we know just how difficult saying goodbye can be.

Incorporating a comfort room into our new hospital was very important to us.

🐾 A space that you can sit, hold, cuddle and lay with them in their final moments.

🐾 A space where you can take your time to reflect and remember.

🐾A space offering complete privacy, allowing a discrete exit when you’re ready.

We couldn’t end the week without sharing this special boy’s story..

Meet Ares 🤍

Ares sustained irreversible damage to the nerves in his armpit, which meant he no longer had any function in his front leg.
This is known as brachial plexus avulsion.
Ares underwent amputation of his front leg and quickly became a team favourite!

Being a tri-paw has not slowed him down, he is walking very well and will go on to live a happy life 🐾

Meet Frankie 💕
This sweet girl has endured a lot in her short life and was rescued by a very caring local lady.
She was bitten on the face by a larger dog, which caused her eye to pop out of the socket.
On pre-anaesthetic blood work, we discovered she was severely anaemic and required a blood transfusion prior to surgery.
We are happy to report that surgery went very well!
Frankie will be cared for by SAFE Carnarvon, until she can be adopted.
