Exciting news! This handsome man is on his way to Junction Farm Equestrian Academy! He is a super school horse from Nel’s Horse Riding School at Stockleigh in Queensland. Sadly for Janelle, he suffers from a condition called anhidrosis, which means he cannot sweat. Janelle and her students are sending him to us in Tasmania so that he can have a more comfortable life, doing what he does best (helping people learn to ride) in a place where the average temperature is lower. Thank you for this amazing gift. We will take great care of him. ❤️❤️.

Check out these square halts! When a horse is well prepared and willing to halt, he stops “square” with good balance and his weight distributed evenly over all four feet. This group of beginners practised halts at the end of their first lesson for Term 2 tonight, and look how well they did. 👍👍😁
