Acacia Ridge Stud STALLIONS AT STUD & YOUNGSTOCK Principal - DENISE DAWSON

HEATHMONT ROULETTE … standing at Acacia Ridge Stud available for live cover to selected mares.

A fantastic stallion with a super temperament, as well as being a stunner, he is a smaller, more compact WB, standing at just over 16hh. He is currently competing successfully in dressage with Verity Hayman. He is by the super sire Royal Hit (Imp) out of imported Danish WB mare, Geilgard Romance II. His oldest progeny are just hitting the competition arena with great success and the owners of his

youngsters all love them. Full breeding on website. He is throwing beautiful babies. Roulette carries some of the top European bloodlines. VALE ….ACACIA RIDGE BRAVO ROMULUS...RIP Beautiful Boy.

17hh warmblood stallion by Northern Romulus our FEI dressage stallion (by Falkland Victory out of an Arnhem, Flaneur mare) out of Lima Echo who is by Heath Ryans stallion, Salute and out of a TB Precipitation mare (a TB line much used by Heath and other breeders to infuse top TB jumping lines into their eventers). Metallic chestnut with lots of chrome, very uphill, three top paces, with very elevated canter, has done very well from limited outings always placed or won at dressage and showed much style SJ. Very bold jumper with excellent style. Oldest progeny are now rising five year olds and are starting to make their mark on the competition scene. Jane Cafella with AR Beaujolais, just starting their career and placing very well in dressage, Jane is also going to jump him as he has fantastic style. Fiona Heysen has a stunning chestnut filly which she is thrilled with. Rebecca Foster has a chestnut gelding who will be out this season, Caitlin Keith also has a rising five year old filly by Bravo who she is delighted with and will be eventing this season. AR Bianca is doing very well at Novice dressage, with lots of wins and is about to start jumping as well. Bravo's babies have fantastic temperaments and are all naturally "uphill". We look forward to seeing many more out there competing in coming years. Youngstock, from weanlings to 4yos under saddle usually available - check website www.acaciaridgestud.com.au

Our emphasis is on breeding correct comfirmation and movement, with temperament being of utmost importance. Our youngstock are foal indented and are all very people friendly.

I havent posted for a while but some great results in the last month. Acacia Ridge Rio and Verity Hayman did exceptionally well at the SA State Dressage Championships and were AOR Preliminary Champions and Reserve Novice Champions. Very well done Verity. This last weekend Rio and Verity didn't get to compete at the Southern Vales Dressage Clubs Championships but Kirsty Trento, riding Acacia Ridge Rhumba won the Novice Championships with over 70% in both tests, well done Kirsty!! and my long time pupil, Tash Miers, riding her grandfathers lovey TB gelding Overstreet, won the Youth Novice Championships, also scoring 70% in one test and 68% in the other, Great achievement Tash👏🦄👏🦄👏🦄

Verity and Rio did a super clinic with Peter Decosomo this week, some quite different coaching but Rio and all of the others I observed were working much more softly by the end of the 3 days. No action shots as I videod.

Verity Hayman and Acacia Ridge Rio had another very successful outing to Cromwell Park today for two wins in AOR Novice and second overall in the 2.3 with a 67.6% and 66% in 2.2.
It was super to have the added experience of interstage judges. They won both their Novice tests at SVDC last weekend with both tests scoring over 70%. They have had very limited outings todate but hopefully lots more to come 🦄🦄
