Sweet Paws Sleepovers

We pamper your small medium / dog while you are away in our home. We treat your dog like our own. We love dogs !!!

Both our old age dogs passed away in the last two years and it's not a home without a dog so now we offer in house dog care. Let us look after your pooch and treat them like our own. The have run of the house, a big garden, dog door and daily walks. $25 per night.

Next stop was Violet Town. I visited the Southern Aurora train memorial and gardens. The train crash tragedy happened in 1969. Then we stopped at Benalla and saw the Ceramic Murial. That was beautiful to walk around and check out next to the lake. 🤍Archie 🐾

My first stop was Euroa in Victoria to see a big magpie. The big magpie in Euroa is named Swoop the Big Barrwarrang. Barrwarrang pays tribute to Taungurung people – meaning magpie in their language. 🤍Archie 🐾

I was packed in the car, on top of all the luggage so I could see out the window… and off we went on a road trip. 🤍 Archie 🐾

Archie has gone away so Sweet Paws Sleepovers is closed until 9th October 2024. He would love his buddies to follow his road trip over the next few weeks to visit his friends up north.

Little wiz banger Luna has had a few sleepovers this year. She is filled with personality and super cute, inside and out.

We were in the car on the way home from our daily walk when the storm hit today. The dogs all cuddled up when the thunder started. They found walking on ice very strange when we got out of the car.

My darling Auggie came for a visit recently. He is so easy going and just cruises through life. I think of Auggie as the cool teenager when he is around the other dogs. We love having big hugs and although he is tall, he is just a big teddy bear.

Lola is equal parts active and inquisitive. Apart from swimming, she loves to run with her friends, chase the ball and check out what is going on. She comes along to sports days with us and seems to follow the game.

While Lola loves swimming, she isn’t always brave enough to swim into deep water to retrieve her ball that she always drops in. It’s a game on repeat and we watch many tennis balls drift away to be found another day.

Lola brings her soft ducky with her to sleep with. Ducky has had its head sucked and chewed off but is still identifiable as a duck 🦆 As a person who had a special teddy bear to sleep with, I relate to Lola’s love of ducky. It’s really sweet to see her holding ducky and gently chewing it as she falls asleep. There was a night that ducky was left at home but I found a toy with a similar texture and size to help Lola to sleep. Knowing the details of your dog’s needs, helps us to provide individual and special care for your dog.

It’s no secret that Lola has a very special place in our home and hearts. Maybe it’s her name (we had a Lola), maybe it’s because she shares some mannerisms with our Lola, maybe it’s her dark eyes that you can see into her gentle soul, maybe it’s her little head wobble when you talk to her or maybe she is just a wonderful dog. I wake up with Lola standing on me, welcoming the day. She stands behind me when I drive the car with her head snuggled into my shoulder. She likes to be at eye level when you play with her so she can look straight into her eyes. Lola is an incredibly loving girl.

I love watching Luca run. His ears become aerodynamic and his fur seems to give him lift. He absolutely loves running around, racing his buddies.

After a big day of running, sniffing, playing and socialising, Dot loves to find a comfy spot, curl up and have a sleep.

Dot loves to play. She plays with toys, balls, other dogs and humans. She is not only sporting but she enjoys going to watch sport and all the attention she gets from the kids.

Allow me to introduce you to gorgeous Dot. She was very shy when we first met but each visit her confidence grew. Now when Dot arrives she says hello, zooms through the house, out through the back dog door and has a big sniff around the back yard. Once she knows everything is in order, she can begin her play day.

After a walk and a treat, George likes to have a little rest. He loves to lay by the front door in the breeze.

George formed a sweet friendship with Archie during his stay. I love capturing those special moments when they lean in and give each other a sniff or a lick.

Warning : cuteness overload ! We had the pleasure of looking after George. He may be small but his personality is big. George knows exactly what he wants and how to get it and how can you say no to that gorgeous face.

Like most of the dogs that visit, June loves water play. We always try to provide as much fun and stimulation as possible for our visitors. It’s equally as much fun watching them enjoying themselves.

My beautiful friend June came back for another visit, sporting a new hair cut. June just wants to have fun. She loves chasing the tennis ball, tug of war and a juicy bone.
