We have 4 awesome clinics planned for the January holidays! 😁👇🏼

We have made some changes to the schedule of clinics for summer to avoid the heat. Summer clinics will start and finish earlier and have an earlier, break for morning tea instead of lunch.

Designed for riders with some level of experience, this clinic offers guidance and a supportive environment to take your partnership to the next level. (Spoiler alert, there will be an obstacle course involved!!)

- Time: 9am - 1pm

Well there’s only a few hours left of 2024, (seriously, where did it go?)
We want to take a moment to thank you all for a wonderful year & wish you a very happy new year!!

We’re so looking forward to seeing our lovely clients again soon and also excited to get to know new ones this next year.

As we start the new year we have a couple announcements.

We will be starting regular lessons again with the start of term 1 on 31/01/2025. Bookings for regular lessons for 2025 are now open, please send us a message to keep your existing lesson slot or book a new one.

We are continually working to keep our prices as affordable as possible. That being said, we do have to raise our prices this year. Here are our new prices.
•Regular Private Lessons ~ 45 minutes $70
•Regular Group Lessons ~ 60-90 minutes (depending on numbers present) $70
•Once Off or Book As You Go Lessons ~ $80

For your convenience due to popular request, we will also be moving over from invoices to EFTPOS in the new year! EFTPOS payments will incur a fee of $5 per lesson or clinic.

And last but definitely not least, so many of you have been asking so here’s the good news!

WE HAVE CLINIC DATES FOR JANUARY!!!

Our ponies and coaches have enjoyed a well earned break over Christmas and we hope you all had a wonderful time as well! We will be kicking off the new year with 4 exciting clinics in January to finish the school holidays before we start back to regular lessons! This post is long enough so I will post clinic details in the next post! 😁

So true

Working with young horses is tough.

And not just in the "hold on and hope you stay in the saddle" kind of way.

No one warns you how challenging it truly is. How often you'll doubt yourself, wondering: Am I doing this right? Am I moving too fast? Too slow? Is this too much? Not enough? You'll constantly be questioning your approach, trying to figure out the best way forward while tuning out the opinions of the trainer down the road or the livery next door, who throws judgmental glances every time you do groundwork.

No one tells you how, on some days, you'll feel like you're failing. You'll question if this horse would be better off with someone else, convincing yourself you're either wasting their potential or outright ruining them. After all, there are four-year-olds excelling in young horse classes while yours is still struggling to trot in a straight line.

No one tells you how attached you'll become. This horse is your baby, maybe one you helped bring into the world. Every setback feels personal, like a wound to your heart. You care so deeply about their well-being that it physically hurts when things go wrong. You’ll also become fiercely protective—God help anyone who dares to criticize your horse.

No one tells you how humbling, even brutal, these horses can be. They'll expose every weakness you have and practically shout it from the rooftops. While they are forgiving, they have a way of knocking you down a peg, reminding you there's always more work to be done.

No one tells you how these horses will change you. They'll force you to look inwards, to question everything you thought you knew. If you thought you had everything figured out, this horse will quickly show you that you don't. But they'll also ignite in you a fierce determination to prove everyone wrong and show them what you saw in this horse from the very beginning.

No one quite tells you how difficult young horses can be, but anyone who's been through it knows...

As tough as they are, they’re absolutely worth it.

Can you believe it’s officially spring next week??
How good is this warmer weather!

With the days getting longer we finally have enough sunshine to open the 5pm lesson slot back up for the warmer months.

We’re starting the 5pm lessons from the 1st of September. At this stage we have Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday still available at that time.

We also have some other after school and weekend time slots still available, as well as spaces earlier in the day, which our tiny tots and adult clients seem to prefer.

If you’d like to book one of our available spots please send me a message, let me know what are your preferred days/times and we’ll find you a space. 😊

I want to start this post by saying thankyou to the great majority of our lovely clients who have been and continue to be so wonderful to work with! I truly appreciate you all!!

That being said, unfortunately we find ourselves in a position where we have to implement a couple of new policies here.

The first one is, it has become necessary for us to implement a pay before you ride policy. Payment will now need to be made before you hop on the horse, we accept cash on arrival or if you need an invoice to pay online let me know when or before you arrive and I will be happy to send you one.

Secondly, we have had to implement a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your lesson you will still be responsible for paying the lesson fee and will receive an invoice.

Thankyou again to those of our clients who are absolutely wonderful to work with! We love what we do and we love & appreciate each of you! If you have any questions or concerns please message me, I’d be happy to answer them.

These are 2 client horses that arrived last Thursday afternoon. The job was to bring them back into work after a year or so off ready for their kids to have lessons, and get them so the pony could be lead easily and calmly off the bigger horse. I’d say we’re on track, what do you think? 😁 We’ll have a couple of spaces for client horses opening soon, general work or training. Message to chat about how we can help with your horse.

🦄 Beginners Pony Play Day.
A fun day for beginners (off lead), paint ponies and learn safe horse handling, mounted games, competitions & prizes. This was such a big hit last time that we’re running it twice this holidays!

🏇 Connection and Trust Building Day, intermediate level, focusing on strengthening the connection between horse & rider as a team. (Spoiler alert, there will be an obstacle course involved! 😁)
