16.2 h grey gelding, ASH reg. 15 yo
Moody is the sort of horse that everyone is envious of!
He is beautiful, kind and wise.
He has done 8 seasons of polocrosse up to A grade as well as heaps of stock work on his current owner's property.

In 2018 Moody travelled to WA as the Polocrosse Nationals reserve for the winning NSW junior team, and played in the Masters Competition at NSW Zone Championships in 2017 and 2018.

Now at 15 yo, it's time for him to wind down, but he still has so much to offer!
He has Pony Club dressage and jumping experience, and is very steady and sensible to ride and do anything with.

Moody has great paces and natural presence.

He represents a unique opportunity for either a junior to have an experienced all rounder, or an older rider to have a safe horse they can have fun on and be proud to ride.

This week I have a couple of lesson spots available on Southern Son, ( aka Archie) FEI level Warmblood stallion; a great opportunity to practice shoulder in, traver and half pass, as well as collected canter, counter canter and flying changes .
He is very quiet and sensible, just a lovely horse who enjoys his work and looooooves carrots!

This clinic is a great opportunity to get yourself and your horse familiarised with the new venue used by CCDA, and to get you out and about with your horse in a pro active way.

I will have small groups, and we'll be working on keeping both horse and rider confident, as well as schooling through a variety of exercises and movements appropriate to your level of training and competition level.

Prep to Advanced/FEI groups, lessons are 1hr 15 mins; we work, we chat etc so even though the lessons are long we take our time and have breaks 😀

$130 pp

Anansi ( aka Spider) is a classy and elegant type, and has the most wonderful temperament. He has enormous talent as a show jumper and /or eventer, with a naturally balanced canter and an athletic jump, but most importantly a great attitude. Spider has been schooling with John for the last couple of months and is now ready to go on and do amazing things in the performance arena!

Spider has always been very sound, has great wind, travels perfectly, very easy to manage and handle. He does wind suck a little bit in the stable but goes out in the paddock every day and keeps his condition well.

Just a beautiful horse inside and out.

Our beautiful Warmblood stallion Southern Son ( Archie) is available for lessons for a limited time.
He has competed at PSt George/ Inter 1 and is like riding a Rolls Royce!

Don’t be put off by the fact he is a stallion, he is like a friendly labrador 😀
If you need to get the feel of shoulder in, traver, renver, half pass, walk pirouettes, extended trot and flying changes, this is a great opportunity, as he is very supple and bendy and gives you a great feel. He is very comfy to ride and easy to ride in a round frame.

Archie is semi retired, but still loves his work, especially in this cooler weather,and most of all he loves the carrots 🥕 he gets after each ride!

He would be happy to help riders over 16 yrs at Novice/ Elementary level, he is 17 hands but not big barrelled so a smaller rider would have no problem.

If anyone has some spare time this weekend and would like to help out at the CCDA comp at the beautiful Stonewall venue, it’s a great experience!
Pencilling helpers at the lower levels and gear checking/ marshalling jobs, so easy peasy and no experience needed.
