DIY pet/wildlife safe rat trap.

🐀Get a 20L bucket or taller, and half fill with water. Mix in a small amount of molasses so the water smells sweet
🐀Smear some molasses around the inside of the bucket, then add a handful of chicken feed to it to stick to the side.
🐀Sprinkle chaff, grass or a little hay over the top just so that it doesn’t look like water.
🐀Added a small floating container or lid with some chicken feed floating in the middle of the bucket also.
🐀 Put the trap in a rat high traffic area, ensure they have a ramp on the outside, or is placed close to something they can climb to get in to the bucket.

We have got over a dozen a night between our 4 buckets using this method.
