After over 15 years as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, I decided I needed something new to sink my teeth into. The result was Equine Dentistry. Having owned and competed my own horses for 20 years, plus my Equine Management and Husbandry qualifications, this was the logical next step! I thoroughly enjoy my career as an Equine Dentist, every horse I see is unique and I take pride in being able to mak

e them happy and comfortable. I have taken many horses from unridable, dangerous beasts to trophy winning eventers and dressage mounts. No teeth, no horse!!

My Grandpa!

My preference for riding ‘sans noseband’ must be in the blood!
This is my Grandpa in 1938, unfortunately I never met him as he died in the 50’s after suffering a heart attack whilst riding his horse. I can think of worse ways to go.

At 29, Patrick is no stranger to the dentist!
Over the years, he’s had all his incisor teeth extracted due to EOTRH, and 2 more molars out today that were loose and causing some feed packing and discomfort.
I really like providing these older horses with dental care, it’s our responsibility to care for them even when they are old and crunchy!

I’ll be in Melbourne from the 13th presenting at equitanaaustralia, then staying down for family business until the end of November.
Unfortunately this means for the rest of the year I can only take bookings from CURRENT clients. As in, I’ve been seeing your horses yearly.
I cannot take on new client, or those who have let dentals lapse a few years. I need to keep the few available spots for my regulars 🐴
