🆘 WE NEED BLANKETS!! 🆘

Due to the wet weather and large amount of animals in our care, we simply cannot keep up with our washing and are running very low on blankets at both of our facilities.

We are putting the call out to our amazing supporters and asking for any assistance with blankets. New or pre loved we don’t mind, provided they are clean and in good condition. We just do not use doonas as they can become a choking hazard.

Either facility is fine for drop off, we are in need at both 🐾

Pateman Rd, Erina (Mon-Fri 10am til 3pm, Sat 10am til 2pm)
2 Depot Rd, Charmhaven (Mon-Fri 10am til 4pm, Sat 10am til 2pm)

Only occasionally do I truly hope and beg. But this one is one!!

Want to make a difference to animal facilities ALL AROUND NSW? This one is for you. We have donated items that are ready to go to the rural pounds. Rural facilities get cold, sad animals and don't have the same ability to reach out for help, like we do. And it gets REALLY COLD there. Can you drive items to the towns as per the pic? Do you know truckies, tankers, transport, airplane contacts, people who travel there? Or you? There are many animals on the other side that need the donated food, blankets, toys, coats and medicine. If you can help anytime this month to take donations from Sydney to there, please email [email protected].
(Ps. If a person comes forward for a road trip should we see if anyone will donate fuel vouchers?? Just a thought??)

*PET LOSS SUPPORT DAY RESCHEDULED*
When: Sunday 26th May - 9:30am-12:30pm
Where: Base Health, Newcastle West

Many feel alone and isolated in their grief surrounding the end of life time period and loss of an animal. Most of us treat our animals as family members, not "just" a dog/cat/animal, so the emotional rollercoaster of losing them is an experience shared by many - you are not alone!

Please come along to this safe and supportive small group experience, and be a part of a small group gathering to discuss your experience, get support and support others with similar experiences.
