🩷 Senior Brooklyn 🩷
HOUSEHOLD- Meet beautiful Brooklyn! This sweet, older lady has been calm here in the shelter patiently waiting for her daily walks and cuddles. She could suit a variety of different households and lifestyles but would best suit a more mature household where she can just relax and enjoy her twilight years. She will need 6ft secure fencing due to previous escape attempts and while she is yet to meet children properly she has shown us no concerning behaviour towards them in passing.
ON-GOING TRAINING- Brooklyn can sit and is aware of her name but appears to know little else. She engages well for a food treat but can also be very independent and stubborn if she is not in the mood. She understands the basics and will need gentle consistency to continue to improve.
PLAY/TOYS- Brooklyn has shown no huge interest in toys at the facility but does seem to enjoy soft toys more than hard rubber ones or rope toys. She would much rather interact with a handler or go exploring following her nose as she goes.
OTHER DOGS- Brooklyn has shown herself to be dog social after meeting a number of fellow canines in the facility. She approaches with confidence, sniffs and is then quite happy to move on without a care in the world. She would be suitable to live by herself or with a canine companion after a meet and greet to confirm they get along well. While she has shown herself to be dog social at the facility we unfortunately cannot test for group dog settings such as a visit to the dog parks, beaches etc. If you were hoping to visit these places we would recommend postponing your trip till around 3mths post adoption until she has had time to settle in, feel comfortable with her recall commands and bond with her new family.
CATS/OTHER ANIMALS- Brooklyn has shown a keen fascination from a distance with the cats in the facility but when she enters the room she becomes unsure and takes herself straight back out. She has shown us no aggression or concerning beha

These little cuties have just turned 4 weeks old today and are living it up in their foster home! Mumma Margot is just the sweetest girl and is raising her bubs well 🐾

💜 Cleopatra 💜
This sweet senior girl was left in our overnight kennels along with her brother and their belongings. Poor Cleo was truly so scared from this and took some time to realise we only wanted to love and help her.
One day, she started rolling and wanting to give us smooches. Since that day she’s been so loving and trusting of us and we are so grateful! 🥰
Cleopatra is a quiet little lady at 9 years of age. She is a super smoocher and loves chin scratches! We would recommend a home that she can call her own with no other animals 🐾
Cleo underwent a dental surgery whilst with us and has recovered amazingly. She will require an ongoing diet of specialist dental food (which we can assist with recommendations) to maintain good oral health moving forward.

💙Jekyll 💙
This sweet senior boy was left in our night kennels with his sister and their belongings. Both scared and unsure of what had just happened to them ☹️
It took some time for him to trust us and open up but now we can see how loving this boy really is 💕
Jekyll is 11 years old and a bit of a chunky man 😹 he would love to sit with you and hang out all day if he could. He’s a quieter boy and needs a home where he is the only animal.
Jekyll underwent a dental surgery whilst with us and has recovered amazingly. He will require an ongoing diet of specialist dental food (which we can assist with recommendations) to ensure the upkeep of his oral health moving forward.

This handsome boy was left in the overnight kennels at our Charmhaven facility and to our disbelief no one came forward looking for him ☹️
It took him a little bit to come out of his shell but now he’s such a loving boy with those he knows ❤️
This gorgeous boy is estimated to be around 2 years old and from his gorgeous Seal Point colouring we can assume he does have some Ragdoll genes in there ! We believe with a slow introduction he could coexist with other animals but due to his shyer nature initially he may take some time to open up 🐾
