Introducing Sugar and Spice 😍
These two gorgeous girls have been with us since 3 weeks old and goodness haven’t they grown! They have been in foster care since arriving with us and have been surrounded by children, other cats, dogs and many varied sights and sounds making them super ready for their next adventure in a furever home.
Their exact breed or history is unknown to us but the foster carer thinks that they could be Ragdoll crosses due to their fluffier coats and tendency to flop in your arms when held.
They are both curious, cheeky, and very affectionate little kittens that will cope staying together or being seperated.
They are litter trained but will still need time to adjust to more permanent open space living and will be best limited to part of the house during their initial settling in period to help avoid any accidents in the house.

How this special boy hasn’t found a home yet we don’t understand.
Here is our sweet boy with a staff members 8yo Daughter; this duo had just met and Loki was the most patient, respectful boy, listening to her cues and taking the treats oh so gently.
He is truly a very special dog that deserves to start 2025 in an equally special home.
Highly dog social, adores people and children, kind, respectful, won’t engage with his less social peers, trained and desperate for his people to finally discover him. A home without cats or pocket pets is the home Loki is seeking.
Loki’s adoption fee is $550 this includes - microchip, desexing, lifetime registration, vaccination, flea and worming.

Cruize was lucky to enjoy time away from shelter life recently with volunteer Sophia .... he really captured her heart ❤️
Cruize is such a little cutie!! Such a water baby!
He had the best time at the reserve! His tail was wagging like a helicopter! He happily explored the reserve and water on long lead he happily went in the deeper end of the water and went for a swim! He absolutely loved it!
Someone is missing out on this beautiful friendly boy! He melted my heart as I watched him swim! People also loved him!

💙 Maverick 💙
HOUSEHOLD- Master Maverick is an intelligent, sweet young man who would best suit a home that is willing to include him in as many family activities as possible. Dog and Breed experience is preferred but Maverick has a lovely temperament that he has displayed thus far and could suit a variety of homes.
A home with secure fencing would be ideal due to his natural agility and curious nature, and he could be suited to children 8yrs + because he is unaware of his own size and power. He will be tested further with children and his profile will be updated as needed.
ON-GOING TRAINING- While Maverick is smart, he is easily distracted and can become frustrated if training is moving too slow or he is not understanding what is being asked of him. He loves food treats but is not always willing to work for them so he will need a patient owner who is willing to work with the stubbornness and turn it into determination!
PLAY/TOYS- Maverick loves soft toys and is often seen carrying one is his mouth in his kennel. He does not destroy them and shows joy and interaction when a handler engages in some play with him.
OTHER DOGS- Maverick appears suitable to live with fellow canine companions. He has been polite, well mannered and super social with all the dogs he has met thus far offering some vocals at times but never showing any further issues when up close.
While he has shown himself to be dog social at the facility we unfortunately cannot test for group dog settings such as a visit to the dog parks, beaches etc. If you were hoping to visit these places we would recommend postponing your trip till around 3mths post adoption until he has had time to settle in, develop a bond with his new family and feel comfortable with his recall commands.
CATS/OTHER ANIMALS- Maverick has shown us no concerning behaviours towards cats.
Huskies are known for a strong prey drive and potentially in a real home setting he may display more ‘predator/prey’ behaviours but
🩷 Senior Brooklyn 🩷
HOUSEHOLD- Meet beautiful Brooklyn! This sweet, older lady has been calm here in the shelter patiently waiting for her daily walks and cuddles. She could suit a variety of different households and lifestyles but would best suit a more mature household where she can just relax and enjoy her twilight years. She will need 6ft secure fencing due to previous escape attempts and while she is yet to meet children properly she has shown us no concerning behaviour towards them in passing.
ON-GOING TRAINING- Brooklyn can sit and is aware of her name but appears to know little else. She engages well for a food treat but can also be very independent and stubborn if she is not in the mood. She understands the basics and will need gentle consistency to continue to improve.
PLAY/TOYS- Brooklyn has shown no huge interest in toys at the facility but does seem to enjoy soft toys more than hard rubber ones or rope toys. She would much rather interact with a handler or go exploring following her nose as she goes.
OTHER DOGS- Brooklyn has shown herself to be dog social after meeting a number of fellow canines in the facility. She approaches with confidence, sniffs and is then quite happy to move on without a care in the world. She would be suitable to live by herself or with a canine companion after a meet and greet to confirm they get along well. While she has shown herself to be dog social at the facility we unfortunately cannot test for group dog settings such as a visit to the dog parks, beaches etc. If you were hoping to visit these places we would recommend postponing your trip till around 3mths post adoption until she has had time to settle in, feel comfortable with her recall commands and bond with her new family.
