MARCH
Jason and Julia have planned another well deserved holiday and will be away from the 9th March for three weeks. Starting the 11th March our very experienced senior locum veterinarian Meagan Wheeless will continue to look after the welfare of your pets.
Unfortunately Meagan will not be performing after hours during the week or on weekends.

Clinic opening hours
8.30 -5.30 Monday to Friday
9.00 - 12.00 Saturday.

If you need veterinary attending outside of these hours there a multiple Vet clinics in Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Gayndah.

Jason and Julia have planned a well deserved holiday and will be away from the 5th January for three weeks. Starting Monday the 8th January our very experienced senior locum veterinarians Meagan Wheeless and Karhlia Smith will continue to look after the welfare of your pets.
Unfortunately they will not be performing after hours during the week or on weekends.

I don’t normally correspond on Facebook, but I thought it may be the best means to reach the majority of our clients. An email will also be sent to those clients with a registered email address.

Due to the recent closure of Childers Veterinary Clinic, it has placed an overwhelming demand on myself and staff. We are trying our utmost best to provide quality care for all patients. However, there may be times when we are not able to see patients in a timely manner and we may suggest seeking help elsewhere. This does not mean we don’t care or can’t be bothered – we simply can’t see everyone. There is a national shortage of Veterinarians, and a lot of candidates are seeking work in large cities with better renumeration and no afterhours. We are trying to rectify the situation, but I feel it may take a while before improvements are seen.

Secondly, abuse of any sort will not be tolerated. This includes verbal abuse over the phone or derogatory comments on social media. Those involved will not be welcome back to the clinic. You know who you are, please don’t contact us again.

COVID-19 POLICY (14 December 2021)

With the opening of the QLD borders we are abliged to protect our staff and clients. As always, the care for our patients remains our number one priority. As of Tuesday the 14th December 2021 the following precautions will apply:
- All staff will wear masks when having contact with the general public
- Clients are require to Check-in and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status at window.
- Only one owner per patient to enter premise*.
- An unvaccinated person will be allowed to enter the premises, provided they wear a mask. If they decline mask we are happy to assess/treat your pet while you wait outside.
