We held our last obstacle clinic for 2024 on Saturday with a lovely bunch of horses and participants. Enjoy your photos ladies. I will have to put them up in two lots because Peter took so many!

Tomorrow’s obstacle clinic will proceed. Although today was awfully hot the good news is that the forecast for tomorrow is for under 30 degrees at the time we will be on the course.

There will be plenty of cold drinks and water for horses and humans with sunblock and fly spray also provided. Gates will open at 8.30am for a 10am start - there will be a Milfield Horse Park sign at the gate. Give yourself time to settle your horse and check in but no need to lunge or prepare your horse in any way, we cover it all during the clinic.

Terms and conditions
Participants must fill out and sign a MHP waiver form at clinic check-in either using a digital QR code or a paper form. All participants must fully comply with all instructions given to them by Kirsten Stoop and any Milfield Horse Park team members to ensure a safe environment. All care will be taken to ensure the safety of riders and horses, but Kirsten Stoop will NOT be held liable should you or your horse sustain an injury during participation in the clinic.
Participant cancellations: Refunds are only applicable if your booking is filled by another paying person. It is not the responsibility of Milfield Horse Park to find someone to pay for your clinic booking if you cancel or do not turn up on the day. Finding a suitable replacement for a cancelled clinic booking is the responsibility of the participant who is cancelling. Cancellations within 48 hours are completely non-refundable.
Organiser postponements or cancellations: If we have to postpone or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside our control (ie. illness/injury, weather, or government advice or directives you will be offered a transfer to another suitable date. On a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Milfield Horse Park, refunds (minus irrecoverable costs) refunds may be offered.

Due to the extreme heat forecast for tomorrow we have decided to postpone the obstacle clinic for the welfare of horses and riders. All ticket holders have been emailed and their tickets can be transferred to a day of their choice.

Saturday was a glorious day for obstacle training. Perfect weather and keen participants made for some great training and learning opportunities. And there was a chance to chat about using energies and breathing to influence our horses.

Hey everyone! Come and have a fun morning on the obstacle park, this Saturday 10am to 1pm. The day includes a free sausage sizzle, free drinks, and free professional photos. Mountain trail is perfect for creating brave, bold horses. There is a see-saw, curtain, Texas two-step, a water crossing, bridges and heaps more. It doesn't matter if your horse has had a few weeks off, or if they are old or young. And it's only $75!

We have another obstacle clinic for this coming weekend, Saturday October 19 10am to 1pm including our now famous (and free) gourmet sausage sizzle! The forecast is for fair weather so go here to book. After a long, wet, muddy winter the obstacle course is ready to roll! We will be open on Saturday, 28 September, Saturday 5 October and on the Monday 7 October for the long weekend.

After an extremely wet, muddy, boggy winter we are hopeful that the obstacle park will be back running in a few weekends. We are taking advantage of the warm days and drying winds to refresh the park, update a few obstacles and put in a few new ones... I've got my heart set on a sandpit!
