Just wanting to say thank you our new customers to Barkin Beautiful who have continued their support from K9Chic with the very quick change over of ownership.
We understand change can be difficult with new faces, new groomers, policies and procedures and prices may not appeal or be accepted by all. But those who have taken our changes we appreciate you.

Unfortunately..
We are sad for those who have not taken to this change but I applaud to their loyalty to the previous owners,
We wish some customers would have been open to us as the new salon on the block.
Unfortunately we have had a lot of nasty comments, judgements, accusations & reviews in which some people we have never actually even met. Also about our new hours and not opening on a Saturday in which I have 2 young children and families in which we would like to prioritise our time to spend with them on the weekend also.
We are real people and first and foremost we LOVE our job and working with your pets and treat them with the upmost respect.
Amber built a great business over the years and unfortunately through no fault of their own, circumstances had changed which meant a swift decision had to me made in which I stepped in to take over the lease & client file and expand Barkin Beautiful Grooming studio from Capalaba to Raby Bay.
We have done the best we can with the timeframe given being right on Christmas the busiest time of year by reinstating any standing December booking.
Myself (Lauren) and the groomers have worked tirelessly to consult with customers in which groom style they are after moving forward and putting everyone on a new schedule as the old VIP of K9 chic has been cancelled out.
We donβt deserve to be yelled at, abused verbally, through facebook or messenger or reminder sms because of the changes stated. I understand everyone was a VIP customer to K9 chic but we are making our own new VIP schedule for clients who also respect us and our values to provide the best quality service which we do not want to be considered the cheapest BUT we adjusted prices as products, rent, expenses have all skyrocketed as we all know to be able to continue to keep the best groomers their wages as well all need to come from somewhere.
We are excited about showing everyone what potential this salon has to offer for 2025.
We are wishing everyone a merry Christmas π and a safe holiday as our last day on the 21st of December and reopening 7th of January 2025 -
our new hours of 7:30am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday.
We are taking bookings from the 7th of a January and asking who would like to be put on a regular schedule.
