This is just a quick reminder that memberships are now due again.

Also that Hipoints booklets and your proof of placings, either signed booklets, or printouts off websites confirming your placings are due by the 20th January, 2025. Please make sure when posting your information, that is sent to PO Box 237, Clunes Vic 3370.

Thanks to those people who have already renewed their memberships and sent in their Hipoints. The Hipoints are being checked and tallied as they are being received, so get them in before the 20th January so that these can be completed and placing sorted and prizes arranged.

I have been getting a bit of interest for the 2024 Victorian State Show. Just a reminder that the ABSS Spring Carnival Show will be being held on the Saturday 23/11/24 at Elmore , and they have Friesian Warmblood Classes as well as open classes that we can attend. Come and make a weekend of showing our beautiful horses.

I am aware that all of the stables are fully booked at present, but there were still some open yards available I think. If you are specifically chasing a stable, there are stables available at the Bendigo Show grounds and Tatura Equine Centre - both about 1/2 an hour from Elmore.

Our prize pool is looking fantastic also. I hope to see as many of our members in attendance - come and win some great prizes!

The 2024 Victorian State Show program has now been finalized. We have another interstate judge booked, Steven Brewster, and we have been so fortunate to have some amazing sponsors supporting our show this year. We currently have: -

We have our full Friesian Warmblood program, plus have a program again this year for Purebred Friesians.

We currently have a few Champion & Reserve Champion sets available for $40 per set. These are:-

Ridden FWB Gelding

We would like to sincerely thank all of the members who dialed into the 2024 Annual General Meeting this afternoon, and also for those who sent formal apologies to be recorded.

With the numbers of attendees, we were able to have a very successful meeting and fill a number of the committee positions, representing almost all of our states as well! If you might be interested in one of the other roles, we would love to hear from you.

*The meeting did include discussion for the Treasurer, should no nominations be received, and we will update members of the outcome in due course.

Due to a technical issue with the pin for the 2024 Annual General Meeting on Sunday, the meeting could not be held. It has been rescheduled for 2nd June 2024, 1pm (WA)- 3pm (AEST).

The same call in details can be used to attend the meeting. The pin issue is being resolved this week.

IMPORTANT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING UPDATE

Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with a pin for the Hot Air Conferencing we were not able to get todays meeting to work.

Please be advised that the meeting will be moved to next Sunday, 2nd June at the same time.

During the course of the week an amended notice will be issued to all members and the technical issue with the pin will be resolved so that the meeting can proceed.

We are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience as we are aware that many members made the effort to attend/dial in for todays meeting.

As per the Annual General Meeting Notice that was emailed, nominations for the committee CLOSE this FRIDAY, 26th APRIL! At this stage we have ZERO nominations received.

If you can use a computer and have a spare couple of hours a month we would love to hear from you! Please remember, no committee means no society!
