It was a great weekend at the Nutrien Equine - Standardbred Sydney Yearling Sale.
On Friday night, Blanche Poole’s Rhiannon Park stunning Huntsville Colt out of Slip Slop Slap was awarded Runner Up in the Parade for Best Presented Colt of the Sale.
We were excited to introduce our own new innovative of Best Presented Cobbitty Equine Farm sired Filly and Colt, where the vendor of each winner receives a $1000 breeding voucher to use at Cobbitty Equine Farm.
🏆The colt award went to Wayne and Julie Loader’s colt from Lot 172, a King Of Swing x La Perla Bella, which was expertly prepared by Benstud Standardbreds and later sold for $50,000.
🏆The stunning Lombo La Shelly Filly, also sired by King Of Swing, was awarded the best presented filly, thanks to the exceptional preparation by Clarinda Park Horses
👑 The top lot of the day for King Of Swing was Lot 102, a King Of Swing x Dancing Diamonds Colt for Wingate Farm which sold for $85,000.
🤩 Huntsville’s highlight lot of the day was the Kept In Play Filly that fetched $50,000, while his top-selling colt, out of Lurah, sold for $45,000.
It was also exciting to witness buyers eagerly acquiring all the Cobbitty Equine Ultra Air Classic yearlings available. We look forward to seeing this series come to life next year when these babies hit the racetrack!
