The new yards are looking great; construction is coming along quickly!

We can't wait to be back to full strength in February next year when we can offer training for inexperienced handlers.

We're back!

After a break of nearly 3 years due to drought, floods and COVID, we have returned to training at the new facility at Cobbity.

Next week we open up to experienced handlers who have a good stop and recall on their dogs. If your dog can work sheep with respect, please come and join us.

Note that at this stage we can't cater for beginners, we won't have capacity for novice dogs until next year.

Welcome to the Australian Stockdog Club of NSW Inc.

Our longstanding sheepdog training club has relocated from grounds at Dogs NSW Orchard Hills to a brand new facility at Cobbity. “Sugarloaf” 315 Coates Park Rd Cobbity NSW.

The Stockdog Club offers members the opportunity to teach manners to their dog, train for stockmanship and assist their dogs in all kinds of sheep work. We encourage training in Yard, 3 Sheep, Utility, Short Course and ANKC Herding.

Our team of voluntary instructors are available to help beginners between 9 -11 on Sunday mornings.

As we are starting after a long hiatus our new schedule is as follows

> 23rd 30th October EXISTING MEMBERS ONLY

> 6TH November NEW and RETURNING MEMBERS are welcome to join us, however you should have an understanding of stock handling and MUST be experienced enough to have a “stop” and “call off”

> December date TBA FUN TRIAL with big BBQ bash open to all sheepdog handlers

> February 2023 NEW BEGINNERS WELCOME TO JOIN
