Introducing one of our 2025 G*T Mexico competition tour riders, Tehani Badke from Australia! 🇦🇺 💁‍♀️

Hailing from Coffs Harbour on NSW’s mid-north coast, 15-year-old Tehani Badke is a rising star in the equestrian world. With a passion for riding that began before she could walk, Tehani started competing in pony club at just 4 years old. By age 9, she had developed a deep enthusiasm for eventing and showjumping.

Currently, Tehani’s primary focus is eventing, where she has achieved 1* level and is determined to one day to represent Australia at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games. In addition to her eventing success, she has made significant strides in showjumping, successfully competing at 1.25m and is currently bringing on a team of horses through the grades.

Tehani is eager to embrace international competition, with a particular excitement about the opportunity to ride high-caliber horses in Mexico.

Tehani has expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support of her local community, friends and family in helping her to make this dream a reality, especially Mid north coast Contractors, Kara Kar Horse floats, In the saddle, Equisk and Coolawarra park.

Held in June 2025, our G*T Mexico competition tour includes:

A little update…. Last month Tehani recieved the very exciting news of securing a place on the global Amateur showjumping tour in Argentina, only a week later she was offered a spot on the Mexican 2* tour also so we have decided to change our plans and head to Mexico in June 2025, this gives us a couple of more months to prepare fundraise and save 💰 💰💰💰💰. We have already received amazing support from our local community which is very humbling. A Huge shout out to Kira and Shaun Bowditch from MNCC for your generous support.
