RUSKiLiME is run by Mark Bowman and Joseph Beaini. Russian Cats are our love and passion. Our objectives are:
1. Happy and healthy cats and kittens
2. Happy pet owner
3. Breeding to the standards outlined by the Australian Cat Federation Inc (ACF)
4. Breeding for the purpose maintaining the breed standard and aiming to achieve outstanding Russian Cats
5. Gene diversity and maintaining robust, heal

thy Russian Cats. We have been involved in the Russian Cat world for some years. We are actively involved with breeders and pet owners. We are co founders of ALL RUSSIAN CAT ENTHUSIASTS (where pet owners and breeders can share their pets, along with advise regarding care), and Russian Cats Australia (an in depth website all things Russian Cats and a list of breeders). After being a pet owner of Russians for over 20 years, we can honestly say that we are now “owned” by the most magnificent cat breed in the world. Yes, we all desire something different from a pet, but for us, the gracefulness, elegance, intelligence, and loyalty of this breed has won our hearts forever. Each Russian that we have shared our lives with has been unique in their own “special” way, but the overall breed characteristics are the same. Nothing short of pure joy. We sought our first Russians from Frances McLeod of Arctic Russians back in the year 2000. We where looking for a Russian Blue and a Russian White. The litter only produced Blue kittens. So, we adopted Arctic Voinski Suvorov (aka Deejay) and his sister Arctic Mudrei Koshka (aka Nikita). It was in 2009 we adopted Tintola Polar Bear (aka Kaspa) from Kay Rogers and Craig Broad. In 2015 we adopted Tintola Marusya, a Black girl (aka Babushka who has unfortunately passed) and her brother, Tintola Makarw (aka Luka), a Blue boy. In 2017 we adopted Babushkablue Alik, our Black boy, and his sister Babushkablue Nooshka, our Blue girl. So where did we decide to start? We are starting with what we have and what we have loved. Our first two breeding queens will be from Tintola Russians and Minyawoo Russian. Two very reputable and outstanding breeders and very good friends. We would like to thank Linda and Craig Broad of Tintola, and Ian and Anne from Minyawoo for their support and encouragement, but also for entrusting us with their precious girls. We aim to do them proud. So the long awaited journey begins. We hope to bring you outstanding Russian Cats, both in physical features and temperament. Regards

Welcome home SACC CH ESKY LYOSHA LOEWE.

It is with great pleasure, honour, gratitude and excitement that we welcome to The House of RUSKiLiME, ESKY Lyosha Loewe.

After a planning of 16 months, almost 6 months of extended stay due to lots of red tape, Loewe finally made his journey to his new home.

The temprament of the Russian Cat is foremost in this breed. And man, this boy has it. After such a long, long trip and quarantine, he just waltzes out of his travel crate and demands cuddles. He is just adorable.

A big, solid lad with an amazing coat a wonderful Russian Cat conformation. Exactly the type we where hoping for.

A testament to the breeding of Alma Pretourius of ESKY Russians in South Africa. Thank you, thank you, thank you for raising him so well and going beyond to care for him on his extended stay. And thank you for showing him and gaining his SA Champion title. We are honoured to have the first ESKY in Australia.

So now we move forward.

We are also ever so blessed to be receiving our second stud import in the near future. So we very much look forward to working with, and absolutely loving these boys (and sure our girls will lol).

This delightful young man is from Litter KayR.1
Living his best life with Christina and Colin in Balmain East.
How wonderful it is to see the progeny of your breeding. And how nice it is to be seeing the more "traditional" look in our Russian Cats.
So proud of these kids.
Arkardy spent an extra month with us while his family were away. He was like part of the family by the time he left and so hard to say good bye.

Litter kHelen.2 2 weeks and 6 days "A mothers work is never done!"

The House of RUSKiLiME are proud to announce the arrival of Litter kHelen.2. Born on Saturday the 21st of September 2024. Three big bouncy babies. One girl and 2 boys. Our highest weights yet coming in at 126/128 and 133g at birth. No wonder mum went ouch with the first lol. 72 hours later they weigh 185/179 and 197g!! We are so delighted with these three babies. And mum, Such a champ and mothering in her usual hippy style. So chill. Love her. *ALL RESERVED*

TAMWORTH AND DISTRICT CAT CLUB 27TH JULY 2024. Another lovely day having our cats judged at the Tamworth and District Cat Club Inc. Always a casual and friendly environment. A 4 ring show. Thank you to the club and the judges: Anne Harvey, Marisa Thistlewaite, Wendy Hamilton and Phillipa Perkins. RUSKILIME QUEEN TATJANA THE FIRST- placed in 3 rings TINTOLA QUEEN SNEZHINKA - placed in 3 rings RUSKILIME QUEEN FORGETMENOT NIKITA- placed in 4 rings. Well done girls. The secret to being big and strong is balanced meat, and lots of it. Tonight on the menu is Organic Paws Lamb with a dressing of organic pet beef bone broth by Fur Fresh. Nom nom.

Litter KayR.2 5 weeks old today. Such a fun age where we start to see some wonderful personalities develop. And they started to poop today, all in the litter box. Yay.

Litter KayR.2 Day 20. When the milk bar is open but there just isn't enough room. And then mum leaves to have her diner. Sound on. All reserved.

MOVE IT KIDS! Daily clean up. The kittens are already acclimated to the vacuum cleaner, so no need to worry about loud noises causing them stress!
