Today we’re celebrating the incredible woman behind the magic at Rose Avenue Vet Hospital ✨

Since taking the reins, Emma has transformed our little clinic into something truly epic, a place full of kindness, purpose and a whole lot of heart 💛

We hope you have the most wonderful day with your family and we hope you know just how deeply loved and cherished you are by your team and community. We’re so grateful for all you’ve already done in such a short time and we know this is only the beginning 🧡🐾

We had a celebrating change party on Sunday where Rose Avenue Veterinary Hospital took the staff out for bowling 🎳 and dinner 🍽️( minus a few legends). Our clinic is all about celebrating change and how it is bettering all we do for our pets and our staff 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️. Though it was mostly fun we had a quick chat 💬 about all the great change we’ve had over the last year and what everyone’s favourite change was. The results were:

Multi parameter monitoring 🩺 – all patients are receiving top end care under anaesthesia with all vitals from carbon dioxide concentrations to blood pressures being standard for all patients at both clinics

Integrated xrays 🩻🖥️ – we have new software that means our X-rays automatically link with your pets file. We can now easily talk you through the pictures and send them without delay if needed

Comfort room 🛋️ – our special home like space for all the important discussions, sad goodbyes or acupuncture 🌿❤️

Staff flow 🔄 – all staff knowing what their jobs are so our patient care is stream lined and your pet receives the very best coordinated care 🐶🐱

iPads and using them for client updates 📱 – if any of you have had a pet in recently you’ll notice we update you every step of the way including photo updates 📷, when we are heading in to surgery and when we are recovering. This is all made possible through equipping the clinic with iPads and vetcheck so we are confident that we provide the best service

The extra care we are taking and the morale from clients 💗 – your positive feedback and appreciation helps all of our staff in immeasurable ways 😊

The ultrasound 📺– we updated our ultrasound to a brand new model with integrated AI and remote login so multiple vets can log in and look at the ultrasound together 🧠

Surgical lights 💡 – all of our surgeries are equipped with brand new lighting so we can perform all the high end surgeries with ease ✨

Staff culture 🌟 – how happy everyone is! 😄

Sweet Charlie Bear our 11 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel X friend was in today for a big day of TLC 💙

He had a full dental scale & polish 🪥 and a few sore teeth removed to help keep his smile sparkling and pain free 🐾 We also did pre anaesthetic bloods and x-rays to check on his beautiful big heart 💗 before surgery, plus removed a little lump on his leggy – what a champ!

Our team sat down this week for a staff meeting on team based care, continuing our commitment to exceptional veterinary care.

Team-based care is a collaborative approach where our staff, the pets and their owners work together to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. It's a model where responsibility and accountability is on all team members to achieve shared goals and optimize patient outcomes. We work with everyone’s strengths and remember that you, as our loved clients, are also part of the journey.

While we have been using this approach for the last year and have had great feedback we felt it was time to really sit down and figure out how we can do it even better! Working on our roles, responsibilities and areas for continuing education - how wonderful it is to see our team develop and grow 💕💕
