It's not rocket science. Harnesses create the behaviours we don't want and I'm called in to deal with most often. None of my support dogs wear a harness they are on collar and lead or halti's. Your dog must walk beside or behind you to be in a following position, literally and phycologicaly. Followers are calm, relaxed and happy to be enjoying walks anywhere with you. They don't need to meet other people or dogs....

The dogs and I are taking a weeks break. We will be back on deck on the 26th.. We are looking forward to our first big road trip together, time with friends and lots of sheep for Terra, while Ochre hangs out with her Brother. Always find time to do the things you ❣️with your dogs🐾

I'm proud of my young dog Terra. She is a highly strung girl who is all eye so misses nothing. Yet she takes part in everything I need her to do, competing in agility, supermarket shopping and Kmart today, sheep herding and helping me train other support dogs to lighten the load on Ochre... Thanks Terra you were such a good girl today 💕

We had our last agility trial for the year... It's been an interesting first year running Terra, who loves the sport.. We finished with her first Quoli in Novice gamblers and a Quoli in novice snooker gaining her first agility title... It's back to agility training and sheep for us until next year..🐾🐑

I have been wanting to do this video for sometime. This is how my dogs are fed, this is breakfast and Ochre doesn't get much as she is a fatty. The pup Terra still needs a good breakfast. Both dogs love food and are food driven. Each dog must calmly give me something without me speaking, then they get their breakfast. The behaviour we want is dogs facing each other and a calm steady eat rate When dogs put their bums towards each other, that is food guarding and not good as is inhaling the food. When a dog is food driven putting the food down and making them wait results in raising the food value and can create over excitement and food guarding, fast food rate and food aggression. 🐾
