Bright Bessy Dog Training BBDT uses force free training and behaviour modification- showing your dog how to make good decisions I have developed that method. It is simple and logical.

I have seen the need for the development of an uncomplicated, no-frills method of dog training which clients can feel comfortable with and understand. It has no gimmicks and is highly effective. My method needs no equipment other than a flat collar and lead and does not involve the use of force or fear in any way, shape or form. sands of dogs, many of which had major behavioural problems, needed to develop some manners, had an owner that needed a helper or were young pups needing a great start in life. I don’t make unrealistic promises. I maintain a sense of humour and we am passionate about what I do.

Little SHELBY has been awfully frightened ever since her owners got her .
At the first couple of pup school sessions she hid behind her owner.
During the third session she ventured forward and away from her owners leg.
Last session- she did a little playful sideways jump, then started to interact with the other pups and even wagged her tail!
What I love about this story is that her owner is so caring and so patient with her.
Also,the whole class were really respectful of her fear and became her cheer squad when she showed confidence .
It takes a class to help a petrified pup
We don't know what has happened to Shelby to make her this way.
Playing with the pups was huge progress, but she's still petrified of adults and will actually freeze when they come too close.
Her owner and I are determined to 'get her right' and teach her to trust and to allow herself to feel joy.

We are,from a young age,taught to fear large breed dogs such as Rottweilers.This may be due to them being used in war and horror movies and as security dogs.
As with any dog, if they are bred for quality and temperament and if they are socialised from an early age and trained correctly - they can be absolutely awesome dogs.

This was part of her final assessment before she graduates as a COMMUNITY SUPPORT DOG.

BEAU was quite reactive to noises outside -so we taught him to how to make a good decision - ie when you hear a noise, turn and sit on your station (mat) then you'll get good pay!!!

MOOSE learnt emergency stop in one of my courses . Look how well he's doing with his practise at home !! From all reports- this skill has saved many dogs to date ...
