With a baby on the way I have made the tough decision to (slightly lol) cut back on my silkies so that it is easier to manage with a newborn. I currently have 3 hens from my breeding pen, one splash 1 year old, two blue 6 months old (just started laying) and one blue pullet 3 months old for sale.

A little bit of hand exposure for my silkies.
Slowly working with reward based training to show them that hands mean treats and are nothing to be afraid of.. There's always some that are born more curious and friendly, and some that are naturally more cautious.
Great results for day 1✋🐔❤
They'll all be eating out of my hand in no time🤣
